Mattel recently learned we have the rights to create a Flashback Lex Luger figure, and so he will be added to an upcoming Elite Lineup. I think we can all agree this is great news. Since Luger had at least 4 very disitnct looks in his career I wanted to take a poll of the board in this instance, see which would be the most appropriate to use for his figure. I have chosen what I think are his 4 most distinct looks in the poll above. Please vote for your favorite. Please note that the winner of the poll may not necessarily be the look of the final figure ( as there are many other considerations that go into determining this) but it will give me an idea of what the dedicated fanbase here would be most interested in buying. I have an initial idea of which of the 4 I want to do so I am interested in seeing if it matches up with the results. Voting will end Friday as I do have to get started on the figure soon. Can't wait to see what the head looks like. Anything will be better than Jakks attempts! It's pretty sad that the best Luger head so far was made in the '90s by Toy Biz, which weren't exactly known for their lifelike head sculpts.

This is really cool. I'm glad Mattel is doing this and I hope it happens more often.
I voted allied powers as his USA look/ gimmick is easily the most well known and most likely to sell the best. I do hope later down the line we see an nWo Luger though as we need as many nWo guys as humanly possible.

NWA Total Package Lex Luger. Black trunks tall white boots and old school NWA united states title.......im just saying Exactly what I would like to see. Also, no pony tail. Lets have long haired Luger and no open mouth or puckering lip sculpts. Straight faced will get it done. |

I'd personally go the plain black trunks, with white boots, and as the accessory be 2 pairs of trunks in other colors. Due to the limited amount of Legend Space I think going this way would be the easiest way to satisfy more people.

I'm obviously late to the game on this, but somehow I've overlooked it recently. This is great news. I'd love to see any of these honestly, but ultimately I voted for NWA much to (I'm sure) others dismay. Although I would def consider the red, white & blue.

I think Narcissist and USA Luger would make cool looking figures. I'd take Narcissist and Wolfpack Lex. Hopefully they can do multiple Lex's even if they sprinkled them in the heritage assts, or tru best of PPV would be some ways to get more Lex's out there.

I'd say the Galoob head was pretty spot-on, and the Hasbro head wasn't bad either, especially for the time. Toybiz had some good, some bad on their Lugers. Jakks blew it completely. I definitely hope for the USA/Allied Powers Lex Luger as that is the Lex I'm most familiar with growing up in the early '90s.

USA Lex "you're my heeeero" Luger all the way! that style figure sold reasonably well in the Jakks era while the black tights wcw version was a major shelfwarmer.
Also, we already have some of the guys he had notable feuds with(Bret, Yoko) so I'd say it's the surest bet. Narcissist Luger with a mirror and cape would be an awesome second choice though.
Thank you for all your effort and thought you put into this line, MDT, wrestling figures have never been so grand.

Is Allied Powers Lex Luger the same as All American Lex Luger who had the feud with Yokozuna??
If he's different, I'd rather have a Lex Luger where we dont have to wait a really long time for his tag team partner.
(Legends 3 Bulldog doesnt count because Davey had long hair for that tag team)

I can't believe this man, Everyone wants usa lex because they only know WWE and haven't seen the NWA in the 80's. Anyone claiming his first wwf run was his hottest is F.O.S. He was hot in 86ish, he and Barry widnham were the best thing since the road warriors for a time. That US title reign and build up to it is Ledgendary. Oh well, screw it, just make the head Mattel, I'll buy it make my own Luger, already have the booths and torso, just need me a head. I'll put the red white and blue knee pads on a Angle. |

When I think of Lex, I think of him in WCW during the Monday Night Wars - but not with the Wolfpac black jeans, I mean with black trunks and white boots. So is that attire the same as the NWA version?

Allied Powers for sure. Every other Luger reincarnation would be easy fix-ups to do. His USA gear would by far be the most colorful, though. Great news!
