I agree with Blake, on the term of lack of members and lack of unity, advertising the site through ads and just asking people join is the way to go to make the board fill up and of course this leads to unity (as much as possible) with members.

Hey guys. So after coming back to reply to the Cam/Rob threads, I realise just how saddening this board is at the moment. However, I do want to pitch in for support. My opinion? There's no sense of community, a direct contrast to 09/10 where everyone was pitching in, posting 24/7 and being committed to the site. To be fair though, you had Stevo, Audie, Jed, Allek, Mitch, Cam, Scott, Austin, Kev, EcwOriginal, Rob (thehardboyzwwe)and I'll put my hat in there just because I was apart of it. All great animators (and future great animators) that were all conversing with one another, having a great time. If you build that community up again with a chat thread, animators will come in droves. But we have no chat thread. So where do people talk? On skype, and that's sickening cause they're basically allienating themselves away from the site. You guys need a chat thread. Plain and simple. I realise now that when people leave they leave forever. That was my mentality I must admit. I didn't want to touch or see anything wrestling animation related anymore. So after coming back to post in those two threads on the site that I had easily the most fun I've ever had to what it is now really makes me upset. I want people to come on this site and feel special about doing wrestling animation. So, what do you do when so many great committed animators are leaving? I think we should all come together, for the people who aren't active or not doing anything anymore, and just promote the site to other people, or just recommend it to people when they post their videos on YouTube. Voting on matches simply don't hurt either. 3-5 minutes a match. What else do you have to do? If not, there's nothing you can do unfortunately. It's strange for me at the moment. I don't want this board to slowly fizzle out and I will do everything I can to make it better, but I wouldn't be completely upset if it did in the end if no one else is willing to help out. So to conclude, in my opinion, the problems aren't internal, they're external. They're about the bigger picture. We need to get marketing a bit. Get a few of the bigger YouTuber's to post a video on their channel. Myself, Joshua, Showoff, KKDarden ect... This will get the flow of lower card talent who previously we had on Wfigs coming through. I also agree that the build for these shows is going down quite a bit. A chat thread is definitely something that could really help the hype of the shows and as Blake said, get a sense of community back again. |

However really nicely edited and i liked how you put it together so good job on that man. Kinda Sucks im not going to be around much longer to be a part of it all but i hope to maybe make a comeback soon if i find time. Looking forward to seeing the re-vamped animation board. Everyone has pretty much covered the ideas. If i was to direct you to the best options, read scott and blakes post. They kinda hit the spot of what i would say involving improvement of the board. |

Well those guys are still kinda animating from time to time (except myyqee) and didn't quit so far, but I see what you mean hah, maybe I phrased it wrong. Also can't wait to see the future of the board, should be awesome if everything goes well!  |

I've been waiting for this to start for a long time, and it's time for a new era of animators to step up and start being the new top dogs of animation. With the animators that are and could be in the main events I think WFigs could easily recover from this lack of activity. Thanks for including me. |

Like I promised way long ago.. I won't be leaving until I win the whc..regardless if that time ever comes you likely won't see me often. I wasn't ever a very active animator even from the start. So id like to see this board become active again. I remember when I first joined this board had multiple threads being made each day and the chat thread was super active. I don't think bringing back the chat thread would really help though because not many people post regardless and there isn't much to talk about animation wise. If the animation scene was gonna boom I'm sure it would've happened during the summer when most people had free time and new animators appear but that didn't happen..so I don't really see it happening now. I think it's best to make with what we got. Advertising to new animators won't do much if you get rid of the beginners division titles though (EK, Beginners) but I do think they should go. Also we need a whole new set of PPV's. Not all of them I guess but changing a few around wouldn hurt. I think another part of the reason people don't sign is because these PPV's get really repetitive. Same stips every other show isn't really appealing..especially when they're only a month or so apart. That's my two cents for now.

I think the best way forward is to get new animators or people from YouTube onto Wfigs and competing. The problem they find is that they struggle initially to get the concept and the hence thrill of competing. It is all well and good to post a video on the bigger channels amongst us saying "Join" without really making it clear what we do. This is why I suggest we get the Wfigs YouTube channel really going again. I will put my name out there to spearhead that and I am sure if we get a couple more people such as @carltonfan2010 and el torro to do be part of the "team" in that regard it will definitely help. Posting PPV's again, Making/Posting build for matches as well as other smaller stuff just to generate a bit of vibe around the site. I have alot of ideas on how to make the channel the best it can be as I see it as a great resource we can use to our advantage. |

Changes coming to the board: -Guide/rules thread is being remade, as it has not been updated since 09. -Removing/Combining Titles. Going to need a new title made. Where is Mr. V1 when you need him  -Sign ups for next PPV will be soonish. -Chat thread coming. |
