Does anybody agree with me that Legends Andre is the best Andre figure to date by any company? I personally feel it is the best figure mattel has released or at least top 5. Do you guys really think the head looks nothing like andre? The only thing I would have wanted changed with this figure is a sculpted singlet.

It's a cool figure. I wish the singlet was molded and it would have been cool if he had the big sideburns.

I think Andre is great. I painted the singlet on him a long time ago. If you wanted the sculpted singlet you could always use an Elite 22 Giant body.Just remove the chest hair.

E22 Giant's singlet is painted on, not sculpted. The only sculpted half singlet is on Jerry Lawler and he wouldn't work as an Andre fix-up for obvious reasons. |

I'd love to see Mattel find a way to re-release Andre as a Flashback so more people would have the chance to pick him up. Maybe this time he could have a molded, navy blue singlet and bushy sideburns.
I'm awfully partial to the Andre Hasbro, but objectively speaking, Mattel's is probably the best. The Jakks one with blue trunks and red boots was very good too, but the Mattel edges it out.

He pm'd me asking about pairs of Jordans that I own. Said he remembers me talking about it in another thread. Well that thread was way before this suicide account was created. This along with his similar Punk collection, terrible spelling, and that ptv wanted to sell his collection for a $600 pair of Jordans....... Dude I don't care who you are, and I'd be glad to answer your questions. Just don't insult us. We are not idiots. Back on topic, I actually really like the Matty Andre. I was happy to get it MOC for $50. So in a sense it's the holy grail of my collection. I know a lot of us have it, but I'm sure there are collectors that do not. It's the only figure that looks good with the cloth singlet imo. |

Anyways I never saw this figure in person so I can't really say if it's that great or not. Though I am in absolute love with my e22 giant, and they are very similar, well besides the cloth singlet. |

PLUS the cloth singlet allows you to recreate one of ANDRE's Fav illegal holds.. especially when he was working with warrior!! the dreaded spandex singlet choke...
i think i would have prefered a molded singlet.. but i do wish for this type of stuff mattel could use more realistic material... for example cloth works for a t-shirt and a robe.. but any wrestling gear i wish they could use a LYCRA, spandex like material.. i guess it might be $$ but much more realistic..
i also wish the kickpads, actually had a pad..
