“I was really questioning my decision to return to the WFWF a while back. I asked myself, is it worth it? Is it worth subjecting myself to hell just to rebuild some bridges with some people who don't really like me in the first place? Is it worth putting my personal life at risk after I just went through so much to rebuild it? I already proved myself as a top class competitor, albeit a crazy one, so why come back and go further? Just to apologize for some things that in the grand scheme of things didn't affect anyone of any significance? But Revolution last week answered that question for me. After nearly a month of butting heads with Thunder, I've reconciled with him. We worked together as a well oiled team, picked up the victory, and celebrated together. While that got cut short, it was a good feeling. Thunder has been crossed off the list, and the number of names shrinks.”
“This list of mine, it's about more than just rebuilding relationships that I shattered in my last run. It's about more than proving to the fans that I am the so-called 'good guy' who will do things the right way. And it's definitely about more than achieving temporary glory in some wrestling company that is currently run by a moron. No, this is list is about me, Ace Bennett. This list is about proving that Ace Bennett is more than a ruthless psychopath that will cut short careers. It's about showing my worth as a person, as a man. It's about proving how much I've grown since I've debuted here. But let's not get things twisted, it's not about proving it to other random people, but to myself and those I wronged.”
“I was a boy of just nineteen when I debuted here with this company. By the time that this edition of WFWF Revolution comes to your TV screen, it will have been five years since I signed my WFWF contract. Five years on and off of competing with this company, of battling, of glorious victories, and of pitiful defeats. I've beaten some of the best that the WFWF has to offer, and been defeated by some of the worst. But you know what? All of the pain, all of the hardship, it's worth it. It's worth seeing that I am a better person than I was when I first stepped into the ring. It's worth knowing that I'm able to now put aside petty disagreements and work together with someone to get a victory and form alliances, something I was not capable of at the beginning of my career.”
“And as I look to the future, I ask myself what lies in store for me. I still have issues with a number of people on the roster, and even more who currently are not. Will I get my chance to prove to Samael Ahriman and Mak Cross that the man that betrayed them isn't? Will Raider, or Cam Nitta for that matter, ever resurface so I can thank him for his friendship and apologize for forsaking him in the end? I look ahead with a positive outlook. I know it's possible, I've rebuilt two bridges already. Thunder and Dave Demento are off doing their own things now, and I am no longer seen as their enemy. But above all else, I ask myself what will drive me once I accomplish these goals? Will championship gold once again become the sole prize of being a member of the WFWF roster? Will I have nothing to fight for?”
“But for now these questions, and the list, must wait. Something has come to my attention.”

Ace Bennett: WHERE THE F*** IS HE!?!?!
So clearly, Ace was livid. Having just won his match with Thunder against Yukio Blaze and Brock Maxx, he was physically exhausted, but he was ready to get his hands on the man who had just interrupted him attempting to confront Mak Cross and Samael Ahriman. He knew that Jon O'Deeves was somewhere backstage, and he was ready to send him back to where he came from in an ambulance. Waves of rage, and of embarrassment flowed through Ace's body as he open doors and stomps through locker rooms in search of his adversary. Instead of an adversary, he found an ally. Dave Demento approached Ace.
Ace Bennett: Where is O'Deeves?
Dave Demento: Woah, easy there killer. I think you need to take a little break.
Ace Bennett: No way! I want him now.
Trying to shove by Demento, his friend does not allow him to. Grabbing him by his shoulders, Demento thrusts Ace up against the brick wall of the locker room with an amount of strength that Ace was unable to counter in his current condition. Demento isn't about to allow his friend to enter a war in his post-match condition. Especially not with a fresh Jon O'Deeves. Demento looks Ace right in the eyes with a serious glare.
Dave Demento: Now I'm going to let you go. But before I do, I want you to calm down. Let's talk this out before you do anything crazy.
Ace's body relaxes and his face calms. He looks at the intense Demento and nods his head. That was the reaction O'Deeves wanted out of Ace. O'Deeves was one of the few people in the WFWF who was never a friend of his, but still had a true idea how to get in his head. He knew how to bring the crazy out of Ace, the crazy that he still hadn't gotten full control over, and it had nearly overtaken him once again and undone all of the progress that he made since coming to the WFWF. Demento releases his grip on his friend, and the two have a seat on a nearby bench in the locker room.
Dave Demento: You look like you've just seen a ghost dude.
Ace Bennett: Heh, I pretty much have. I mean, dude hasn't been around in forever and then just decides to show up out of thin air and interrupt me of all people.
Dave Demento: What's his issue anyways? I wasn't around when you two were tagging along with each other.
Ace Bennett: You know what? I don't remember. I couldn't tell you any issue that Jon O'Deeves could possibly have with me. I was in Revelation with the guy around four years ago and that was the only contact I ever had with him. He went away and came back had to be a dozen times, but I don't know what issue he could have with me. I was gone a majority of the time he was around after Revelation ended.
The two sit in silence for a few minutes. Jon O'Deeves really was a wild card for Ace, and a real kink in his plans for the next two weeks. In reality, he was planning calling out Mak Cross and Samael Ahriman for a conversation. But instead, O'Deeves came right marching out and spewing out some BS about how he had a bone to pick with Ace and Shawn Malakai. He understood Malakai, the two of them have gone at it almost as many times than Jason Anders' mouth has gone at Trace Demon's package. But Ace and O'Deeves had a grand total of one match with one another, a forgettable bout that Ace came out victorious in. And yet here O'Deeves was, coming at Ace as if they were bitter rivals.
Ace Bennett: Yeah, this is more annoying than anything now that I think about it.
Dave Demento: I guess he wanted to come in with a bang.
Ace Bennett: I'd like to send him out with a bang.
Dave Demento: Seriously, think about it though, what is Jon O'Deeves known for in the WFWF?
Ace Bennett: I don't know....being a part of Revelation and winning the National belt a couple times I guess.
Dave Demento: So who would be the best people to connect yourself with right off the bat after a long absence from the company?
Ace Bennett: Malakai and I obviously, but it's pretty sad that that's the significance that's trying to cling in order to be relevant around here.
Dave Demento: It's the business I guess.
Ace Bennett: And it's his mistake.
The smile comes across Ace's face as he glances over at his friend. He nods at his friend as a gesture of gratitude for calming him down. The two sit in each other's presence silently, both of them done with their matches for the night. Demento's mind must have been racing after some crazy text followed him out of the arena after his match, so for him to help Ace out like that really said something about his mental constitution. But Ace didn't mention it, he knew Demento would figure it out on his own. Down the hallway, the sound of heels clicking against the cement floor could be hear. Which was strange to Ace, because the women in the WFWF were so butch that he didn't think they could be caught wearing heels even in their free time. The woman turns the corner and reveals herself as Alicia Bennett, Ace's sister. Surprised, Ace gets up and hugs her sister.
Ace Bennett: Wow, didn't expect to see you here. I was just about to head to the airport to go home.
Alicia Bennett: Well, I had a few days off so I thought I'd surprise you. Who was that doofus?
Ace Bennett: Heh. Long story that you won't care to hear. I don't think you've met my friend. This is Dave Demento. We go way back to before I was in the WFWF. We were just hanging out.
Ace gestures over to Demento who looks up at Alicia, slowly he stands up and extends his hand. She places her hand in his as Demento brings her hand to his lips.
Ace Bennett: Easy there killer, or did we forget you have a girlfriend.
Alicia Bennett: He's fine Ace. So this is world famous Dave Demento? I've heard so much about you. It's a pleasure to finally meet you after all this time.
Dave Demento: The pleasure is all mine, my dear.
Ace Bennett: Smooth.
Ace rolls his eyes as he removes Alicia's hand from Demento's. Demento smiles at Ace and shrugs as Alicia just laughs are her little brother's protectiveness. The three make small talk for a while as the rest of Revolution goes on. Ace notices a bit of a sparkle in his big sister's eye. Oh god, this can't be happening. Ace tries his best to get the two away from each other, but they continue to talk as if he isn't there for a while. Refusing to be the third wheel, he allows Alicia and Dave to talk while he walks down the hallway alone. That could turn out interesting, and he knew Dave was a good guy at his core so he was alright with it for the time being as long as he dumped the other girl he had talked to first. Walking down the corridor, his mind began to focus on one thing, and that was not Jon O'Deeves. His mind was brought back to his initial meeting with Christine Martinez.
While they're meeting was so brief, he felt a real connection with this girl. They had been texting back and forth for about a week now after Ace listened to his older sister's advice about not texting right away. Apparently it comes off as desperate or something. But anyways, they had talked about anything from their favorite things to do in their spare time, to what they were eating for breakfast. Yet, they hadn't made plans to meet up. Ace was itching to change that, as he couldn't get Christine's face out of his head. Having reached where he had left his belongings, he pulls his cell phone out of his duffel bag. Pausing briefly, Ace worked up the courage to call her. He was never the best with girls, especially ones that he actually liked, so this was incredibly difficult for him. Getting the gumption, he presses the call button after reaching Christine's contact information. A lump in his throat formed as he listened to the dial tone.
…
…
…
Christine Martinez: Hello?
Ace Bennett: He-hey! It's Ace. How are you?
Christine Martinez: OH MAH GAWD HIIII!
The two laugh once again at the expense of Spice. Although in reality, Ace had Spice to thank for meeting this girl.
Christine Martinez: Haha, I'm fine. How about you? I haven't heard from you in a few hours so I thought you went to bed or something.
Ace Bennett: Oh, no. I had a show tonight so I've been busy. Big match and all that.
Christine Martinez: Yeah? And how'd that go?
Ace Bennett: Heh, you ask that as if you care.
Christine Martinez: I thought I'd pretend for your sake.
He smiled, and then realized that the pause that resulted because of the smile was probably incredibly awkward for Christine.
Ace Bennett: Oh, uhm.... I called because I thought I'd finally take you on that little date that we were talking about in the restaurant last week.
Christine Martinez: What were you thinking?
He wasn't.
Ace Bennett: I-I-I uh, how about this weekend?
Christine Martinez: Oh sorry, I totally would but this week has been crazy and I've already made plans with some friends to go out with them to the movies. Maybe next weekend?
Ace Bennett: Next week isn't good for me, I'll have another show. How about next weekend?
Christine Martinez: Hah, that's what I said.
Ace Bennett: Oh....sorry. So next weekend then. Sounds perfect. I'll pick you up around 8:00 on Friday night?
Christine Martinez: No worries. I will see you then. But I'm going to go to sleep now, I'll text you sometime before then maybe.
Ace Bennett: Yeah, I'll be checking my phone now for you.
That sounded creepy.
Christine Martinez: Haha, alright. I'll talk to you later Ace! Bye!
Ace Bennett: Bye....
He hangs up the phone and hangs his head in shame. That couldn't have went worse if he had tried to make it go badly. On the bright side, she didn't seem to mind his awkwardness. Or maybe she was just being nice. Or maybe she just wanted to get this date over with so that she didn't have to deal with him anymore. He was letting his mind stray too far, so he got up and went back towards Alicia and Dave to rejoin their conversation. He had his fill of romance for the night.

“Around four years ago, just a year into my career in the WFWF, I joined a group called Revelation with Shawn Malakai, Aaron Ashton, and Jon O'Deeves. The group's goal was the cleanse the WFWF of anyone who didn't follow the message of Revelation's so called 'leader.' What was that message? I have not the slightest clue. Who was this mysterious leader? Turns out, it was Ashton himself. I wasn't around to find out though, because the group decided that I was a weak link and pushed me out of Revelation, and the WFWF, with a vicious attack.”
“Being a part of Revelation was probably the worst experience of my entire career within the WFWF. And I've had the misfortune of being in the ring with Phillip Schneider when he was having a fetish about shoving skewers into people's skulls. I was a struggling rookie, looking for somewhere to fit in. I figure, get in with these guys and my career will launch to heights I could never dream. In a way, I was much like Jon O'Deeves was at the time. Just a low card guy looking to make an impact. Long story short, it didn't work.”
“And why do I bring this up now? Because much has changed since I was booted out of Revelation. And yet Jon O'Deeves can't get his mind off the fact that I was a member of that group. It's dawned on me, Jon O'Deeves still thinks that Ace Bennett and himself have something in common. He thinks that we are both still just guys looking to make an impact in the WFWF and make a name for themselves. I mean, that's what we were in Revelation, why isn't that still the case? And I will answer that question, O'Deeves, it's because while you have made absolutely nothing out of your career, I have done things that you have and will never do.”
“I've defeated former champions. I've won championships. I've defeated Hall of Famers. I've been the most feared, most unpredictable character on the roster. The likes of Raider, Johnny Michaels, Trace Demon, and Thunder have all fallen to me, a list of names that you could never accumulate. I've had grand matches where I've risked my life and left the fans unable to forget what they just witnessed. And as ashamed of this as I am, I've ended careers. If I left the WFWF today, my legacy will have already been made. What have you done, Jon? Won the National Championship a couple times, a championship belt that I put back on the map, when the belt was worth nothing more than the change that rattles around in my pocket. Beyond that, your existence in the WFWF is entirely forgettable. You were the Andrew Carter of your time. And now, you're using your vague connection to me as your launching pad back into the WFWF? Sad.”
“So here we are, me only climbing higher, and you still floundering where you were four years ago. And you dare challenge me? I find it quite laughable to be honest with you. I'd feel bad for you for making such a grave mistake, but you know what? You were always a tool anyways. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded you interrupting me if it weren't for my current circumstances. But you just had to have your little dick measuring contest, I win by the way, when I'm here specifically to speak with those who I've wronged in my previous run. See, you're so delusional, that you don't even realize that I had another run in the WFWF when you were gone, left, and came back again. And right when I'm about to call Samael Ahriman and Mak Cross into the ring, your dumb ass comes and spews your incessant dribble about how you're going to get your revenge on me from four years ago.”
“But you know what? I'm not even gonna be mad. It'll be a nice break from all of the serious stuff with Thunder, Demento, Sammy, and Mak to just have a good ole fashioned beat down of a poor idiot who thinks he can hang with me. O'Deeves, you are my sudoku puzzle while I sit on the toilet during my lunch break. A nice easy break from all of the bulls*** I'm dealing with. A break from apologies. A break from idiotic booking. To you O'Deeves, I have nothing to apologize for except for the hospital bill you will be receiving. But to be honest with you, what you are about to receive is your own fault. You decided to stick your nose somewhere it does belong, in my business, and now you are going to pay for it.”
“Boom.”
“This list of mine, it's about more than just rebuilding relationships that I shattered in my last run. It's about more than proving to the fans that I am the so-called 'good guy' who will do things the right way.
“Boom.”
