I don't know if this would belong here per say, however I will still test the waters. Since getting a new job once again, I am FINALLY able to pick up some figures. Long story short, I went to walmart the 2nd time this week to pick up E23 Undertaker as there was only one left! I also saw that B33 Ziggler and punk were there but not Tamina nor Moxley (I mean Ambrose..) Anywho, I asked a worker if he knew if they were gonna bring out another pallet of toys that would happen to have WWE stuff on it. He was really honest and told me he wasn't sure but asked me what figures I was looking for. I showed him and he said he will be on the look out. What surprised me was he said he was a wrestling fan for 30+ years. My Dad and I were talking to him for a good 20-30 mins about a lot of wrestling stories. Stories about my dad and I in our short stints in the business, the worker's experiences meeting wrestlers, and sure enough, being in some biking group (I think) with Bam Bam Bigelow!
Overall, I thought it was pretty cool and rare to find some hidden wrestling fans these days in stores like this. Have any of you guys had something similar like this happen before?

That's awesome man! Love it when you meet people who can share stories back and forth and relate to, and hopefully a new hookup for you when new items hit retail there!

Had a nice experience at the grocery store when I was wearing my macho man t shirt and he recognized it and said he'd only been a fan for about 2 years but he was cool. And another time in the mall where a dude and I talked for about 5 min when he recognized my d Bryan shirt

I had an experience when I was on holiday in Florida back 2 months ago, I was walking past planet Hollywood at downtown Disney, Lake buena vista and I was wearing Daniel Bryan's NO! Shirt and boy (about 25) who worked at planet Hollywood as a greater of some kind and someone who gave out menus went 'nice shirt dude' And I was said something along the lines off "(laughing) thanks" and he worked on the independent scene and we was talking for like 10 mins and he invited me to his show but I couldn't make it due to I was eating with a whale that night (lol I know).

I went to a restaurant one time wearing a Hulkamania shirt and one of the crewmembers chatted me up about wrestling and we ended up talking for a good 10 minutes.

Me and 2 of my friends a couple months ago were in a shopping mall and here's what we did we Started yelling Mike would go "Welcome to payback Randy" I would go "You like to fight for fun eh fella" And Mauricio would go "We fight for justice" And a guy came up to us and he's like I think the Shield's way over-rated and we laughed and had a good conversation, We also yelled out are names Me "Dean Ambrose" Mike "Seth Rollins" and Mauricio "Roman Reigns" I've worn wrestling shirts tons of times and I don't get much response. I'm waiting for someone to reconise what I'm doing when I do stuff like this: 0:07-0:47 and 10:19-10:39

I'm currently in grad school getting my Masters degree in film. I'm in a screenwriting course and I decided to write a wrestling narrative as it's a subject I'm passionate about and knowledgable about. Turns out my 60 year old female professor loves wrestling. She doesn't watch the current product but I can talk to her about Hulk Hogan, etc. Pretty awesome, earned me some brownie points lol.
That's the first thing that came to mind about an unknown wrestling fan as of late.
