Didn't we scare 'em off with endless rants and questions?

I think they had one on here but he quit Jakks to go work for another company or he is working for a different division of Jakks producing other toys not wrestling related.

God knows I wouldn't want to be a member here if I was a Jakks employee! Ha.

There was someone who used to post in the ask jakks thread called Akira or something like that. Never took him seriously saying he worked for jakks, but he always used to answer questions until about 2 years ago.
Before that we had a sculptor on here who was still employed by jakks at the time, she was under the name Sculptor, but everyone knew she was called Becky. She answered a boat load of questions, told us which figures she had sculpted (CS HBK & Bret Montreal Screwjob exclusive, HBK that came with Razor Ramon exclusive, CS 17 Eddie Guerrero, RA 35 Victoria...). But her bosses found out and she decided to close here account. Plus too many people were hounding her for answers.

Maybe if Jakks Pacific had been more honest, productive, willingly, responsive, and presenting to their product... maybe then, this would've been a whole different story. They have nothing to blame... but blame themselves, for WE didn't fail them... THEY failed us.

She was allowed to show pictures of her work on figures that'd been released (prototype stage, anyway), but some WFers were saying that some figures ("Stunning" Steve Austin) had been released when, at that point, hadn't even been announced.

I remember her! People used to ask questions about heads. I remember people asked about D'Lo Brown and she said that she was working on it before he got released and she just 'threw it away' and stopped working on it. That was a while ago, eh?

obviously RSC has contact w/ Jakks. As they still do exclusives for them.
You would think that they would be on the forums...or at Ringside Fest.
Jakks doesn't even show wrestling figures @ comic con or toyfair anymore.

Jeremy, who was their WWE brand marketing guy, used to be very active on here when CS began, randomly popping up in threads. He polled us once about what to call their upcoming 3-packs, and a member here came up with the name "Treacherous Trios," which he picked to use for the line. Somewhere near the end he left the WWE department, but before that Jakks' communication was waning anyhow as their problems kept reoccurring. He still has an account here (jeremypadawer) with the upgraded proboards, so maybe he still lurks? A lot of the old stuff is gone though since Proboards didn't archive it. I remember one time he did a chat with us around 2004, and then when the room cleared after it was over with, he came back for like an hour just to chat with the dozen of us or so who kept the chat open. He talked to us about figures a little bit before just chatting normally about stuff like the WWE product itself and computers. He was a nice guy - an actual fan of wrestling, too. And who could forget his pitch on the slab of Meat from the Rocky line?
