I was thinking about mid Carders, jobbers elites, and I thought, is it possible to get a blue and orange tights Zack Ryder (new scan) and red or green Gabriel (side shaved scan)?

I'd love to get updated Elites of some of the lesser guys, they deserve it just as much as anyone else. Sadly Mattel doesn't feel this way and we'll be lucky to see updated Elites of anyone not on TV every single week. Unless it's Rey Mysterio or Undertaker

I'd buy both of those in a heartbeat

The whole 'TV Time' thing is a load of garbage.. Mattels main target when selling figures is kids.. The majority of viewers for shows like Saturday Morning Slam and Superstars is kids... These shows are full of mid carders and jobbers.

I think there's a real easy way they could insert lower mid-card wrestlers....
1 per series over the next few...
Darren Young Titus O'Neil Drew McIntyre Heath Slater Jinder Mahal Justin Gabriel Tyson Kidd Zack Ryder David Otunga Jimmy Uso Jey Uso
A few of those guys (PTP, Usos, 3MB) there is no excuse to not have them in the Elite line. They get plenty of "exposure" The others, it is what it is. But we need good variety instead of just main eventers

I just don't see any appeal with them. How many times has the WWE repackaged them now? At least three times. First just as the Uso's...then they added the ceremonial dance...and when that didn't help their popularity they added the war paint. And that still didn't help. At $30 + for the pair I just don't see elites if them selling well with the casual fan.

Flashbacks took the spots reserved for the lower card. Minus flashbacks, there are 25-30 elite spots a year. Over the next year, that has to include...
John Cena CM Punk Daniel Bryan Randy Orton Ryback Sheamus Ambrose Reigns Rollins Cody Rhodes Goldust Dolph Ziggler Curtis Axel Kofi Sandow Del Rio Rob Van Dam Fandango Big Show The Miz Bray Wyatt Kane Probably Brock
That's almost 25 figures, and that's not counting anyone getting 2 a year. Then there are the guys who are marketable to kids (Brodus and maybe Tensai, Rey, Sin Cara, Santino) and the possibility of HHH and Undertaker figures.
I do hope we get Usos and PTPs soon.

I'm not a big fan of the 'TV exposure' thing being noted by Mattel. Heath Slater's Elite sold...well. We're getting a new Brodus Clay Elite...and he is a sporadic job guy at best. So I dunno what the true reasoning is, but 'TV exposure' ain't it.

I think they'd be lucky if they even get a Basic figure

Unfortunately, it's not possible. Ryder is getting a basic with Bradley Cooper hair and long tights however. Brodus = appeals to kids Slater = came with ladder.

At $30 + for the pair I just don't see elites if them selling well with the casual fan. I disagree. I think those statements apply more to 3MB than the Usos. Epico and primo were repackaged to Los Matadores, Jinder and Drew were repackaged as Slater groupies, the Usos have always been the Usos. Adding the war paint is like Kofi changing to long tights, the ceremonial dance was just an entrance addition, they are still the same characters though, not repackaged. I for one would love Uso elites, and hope they would sell better than you give them credit for, but i still dont think its gonna happen either unfortunately.

Repackaged may have been the wrong word, but what I meant is they keep adding more to them hoping they become more appealing/entertaining than their ring talent allows them to be and it's not working. Personally I think when Young came out of the closet hurt the Uso's, because they moved ahead of the Uso's in popularity.
I think the Usos have peaked in how far they will go in the WWE as a tag team. Which is a shame because I would love to see a strong tag team devision in the WWE again, but I really don't see any team tearing it up in the WWE anymore...So I don't see the casual fans and or parents willing to spend $30 + on two elites to complete a tag team like they would for a $20 basic 2-pack. And I think both Mattel and retailers feel that way as well when it comes to most tag teams and low/mid-carders in the elite line.
And as far as the above list goes. Personally I would mind all getting elites, but I would only buy Kidd, Gabriel, Otunga and maybe PTP.

I want jobbers and lower card guys made in Elite. If they already have one, I want updated versions.
