This is a figure collecting newb question, but what is the significant importance of the Blue Globe Macho Man figure? Are there plain winged belts in most Macho Man boxes? I did pick up a Blue Globed Macho Man today at Walmart with a E23 Taker and E23 Cesaro.

E23 Macho Man is the first figure to have the Blue Globe Winged Eagle belt. All previous releases of the Winged Eagle bell had the globe colored black.

As well as the first couple runs of E23 Macho.

plus, the blue is more highly sought after because:
A) it's currently rarer than the black globe one, mainly cause only half a production run of one figure has it.
B) it's more accurate,so everyone wants one.

I have only seen the blue globe ones thusfar, so I wonder if maybe they are regionalized?

My understanding is that most of the RSC pre-orders had the black globe, and the ones that made it to stores had blue. Sort of like the mustard/gold Sin Cara situation.

Because the blue is much more accurate...

Just bought a loose one from Ebay, OOhhh YEAH~~ I will never pre order from RSC ever again! I feel so cheated when the Back order Macho Man having a better painted belt.

I have only seen the blue globe ones thusfar, so I wonder if maybe they are regionalized? It just depends on whether a store/chain gets figures from the first run or not. It was an early running change, and MDT said that the blue globe is the less rare of the two so probably most people will see the blue globe version.

I bought that Macho on a whim even though I only want 80s figures. Was going to return it, but maybe I'll hold off.

You can probably count on the blue globe Macho Man plummeting in value once the new Elite Bret comes out, though.
