lol, i know where you're coming from. its because awhile back at one of the Q&As or something, the guy from Mattel said that they wouldn't make Punk in that attire because he only wore it once.
But see, they made Punk in "Macho Man" attire, and he only wore THAT once.
Then Punk wore the Hitman attire like 4 or 5 times last year. So them saying "we wont make it because he doesnt wear it" excuse is gone. and remember in one of the threads i figured out that to make it would use the same amout of color as the Elite 16 Punk, strictly from an attire standpoint....so if they can make E16, why not Hitman?
i think what it boils down to is that a figure of Punk in that attire would be awesome, and 2 of the big excuses for them to not make it are not valid. So I'd almost rather the guys just flat out say "we don't want to make him in that attire" than say "we can't" or this is all just a big tease and a Punk/Hitman Battle Pack is in the works (like the Punk/Macho)
would I love for them to make it? absolutely. i think an Elite in that attire would look AMAZING on my Punk shelf. do I really care if they never do? no.

My sentiments exactly. I am OK with saving money and not buying another Punk, BUT as one who ranks both the Hitman and Punk very high on my all-time best wrestlers list, this would be VERY welcome in my collection. And yes, those two major "reasons" MDT gave don't work when juxtaposed with some other Mattel Punk releases, as was stated. I wonder what would happen if Punk wore this attire again. And again. And no, I don't feel "entitled" to this figure. Never have.

It has gotten to the point that I hope they never make it. I had wanted one but they gave their reasons in why they couldn't and that should have been the end of it. But every week or two since he debut it we get these threads where people are coming off sounding spoiled kids with some false sense of entitlement demanding this figure as if it is owed to them. So now I just hope it never sees the light of day. Yea, that's fine and all but..... we are what keep them in business, and there's really no reason why they can't make it. Maybe they're being the spoiled brats, no? They can make whatever they want to make. Don't kid yourself.

...Finally. That is all. Still wish it was Elite, BUT... I'm OK with this. It better make it to Canada though. Wish I knew how to do a Basic-to-Elite torso switch. Uh... Help? Pretty please?

He isnt a wrestler anymore though. They didn't make it in time, and I expect their sales will not do as well as they could have if they had not been so stubborn about it.

That's alright. The better the chances of me finding this figure, I guess.
But I do hope CM Punk will someday come back to WWE to perform regularly again.

Meh. Wanted an elite. I'd have much preferred if they'd switched this and E29 around. Oh well.

So, uh, can anyone provide a detailed tutorial on how to switch a Basic torso to an Elite one?
Or at least a link to a previous thread that lays it out in a way that's easy to understand, perhaps?
