If this is ever made it's got to be elite. I want to see this with the kick pad deco... I hate the all black kick pads.... If the cost is too much why doesn't mattel eliminate the shirt or belt that the fig is supposed to come with. I quote!! The Basic CM Punk figures are horrible... black tattos, missing tattos, no drug free in the hands.... really really bad!! I WANT ELITE FORM!!! HELL YEAH

The funny thing about this is that earlier in the day something might have opened up in the basic line for 2014 where we could inlcude this attire in the line, and then he shows up on raw in the pink trunks. I'm a little disappointed however. I expected the thread to be at least 12 pages long at this point. With all the combined posts that have ever gone on about this subject, I think that would probably push 12 pages at least. But hey, don't blame us Hitman & Punk fans for trying, I guess? Still resolved in wanting this figure. Elite style, complete according to SummerSlam 2012. Punk: The Best There Is in the World

Heck, even if the sole purpose of putting this figure out there is to shut us up, I wouldn't mind. I'd still spend money on it.

I hope Mattel doesn't release this just to annoy those that want it even more.

I like this attire a lot. Being somebody who has all the mattel CM Punk's I would love to add this attire to my collection.

Has to be done as the Summerslam attire and not the Raw attire otherwise it will be a total waste with plain black kickpads.

i still dont understand how the "cost" would be so crazy. or at least any more crazy than his other Elites. has anyone seen the new Elite Sin Cara? that thing has LOADS of detail. Punk in Hitman should be incredibly easy to make

Punk in Hitman should be incredibly easy to make It's more to do with the colors. Each figure is only allotted a certain number of colors to fit in each lines production budget. And he is at 8 colors before you even get to the trunks. I remember back when DM were still being made someone asked a question about an overly colored attire for a figure and Mattel's reply was something along the lines of each line (basic, elite, DM) had their own budget to work in. Don't quote me on the numbers but it was something line this... Basics were allowed on average 3 or 4 colors per figure to keep it in their production budget. Elites were allowed 6 or 7 colors per figure And DM were allowed up to 9 or 10 colors on average. So if those were the numbers they had said than elite Punk is already over that with 8 colors on his tattoos and head.

That's understandable, but I'd still take an Elite punk with less colour detail on his tats but with complete SummerSlam 2012 Bret Hart tribute gear. i still dont understand how the "cost" would be so crazy. or at least any more crazy than his other Elites. has anyone seen the new Elite Sin Cara? that thing has LOADS of detail. OK that makes sense....however If Punk has 8 colors just for tattoos & head, how can we explain his Elite 16 figure? he has full color tattoos, and 4 main colors in his attire white, light blue, black & red Hitman punk would have less, because the attire only has 3 colors: black, pink & white

i don't understand.... more colors=more expensive? The color used is the same...
and ok.... more colors made the fig expensive? Put in the same series a poor figs for ''bilanciare'' the price! jakks in the past had this strategy...
is more expensive to make? make it ringside exc. and rise the price! I don't think that +$1 or +$2 will be a problem....
The fact is that we want punk in bret hart attire!!!
sorry for my bad english....

White - eyes, teeth, wrists & Hands black - tattoos, hair, eyes blue - tattoos (sometimes the X's) red - tattoos (sometimes the X's) So most of the time unless it's the TRU exclusives tend to use colors that are already being used in the tattoos and head. He also uses these colors on his figures- silver - lip ring green - tattoos yellow - tattoos orange - tattoos Brown - eyes

right so replace light blue in his E16 figure with pink and it's the same amount of colors. because punk doesn't wear a lip ring anymore so there's no need to count that (silver) as color.
heres what we are looking at for Hitman Punk
pink white black green yellow orange blue red
thats the same amount as his Elite 16 figure.
I'm not saying you're wrong, PJ....I'm just saying that if Mattel bases their figures on color use (which makes sense becaus you see a lot of the same colors repeated in sets) there's no difference in the number of colors to make a Hitman Tribute Punk as there are any of his other Elites. Even Series 20 had 8. If it's really that budget constraining for them, just make sure they put a guy who where's plain trunks in the set....like a Sandow or someone who only uses 2 or 3 colors total. There's got to be ways around it, and it's not like the attire is so over-detailed.
Honestly I'd be fine if they did another Summerslam Heritage basic set and just put a Basic in that attire. It was really cool, and just looks awesome. There's no good reason why it can't be made into a figure.
