I received my pre-ordered E25 set yesterday and was caught off guard by the new figures. The texture and color for the figures are different than what I've seen from Mattel. Has anyone else noticed this or am I going crazy? Do you guys smell burnt toast? lol

Let me guess. It's a cheaper plastic being used as a "cost cutting measure". The video says it all.

I doubt it. I don't have e25, but I did pick up e24 last weekend and boppv Rock & Taker today and they all seem to be the same as past figures.

I don't know. Some of us aren't fortunate enough to own Elite 25 :/! Haha.

I remember when Jakks switched to the cheaper crappy plastic. Thats when their quality REALLY started going down the tube. I hope the same doesnt happen with Mattel.

Idk... But the figure head mold is softer. My HHH Elite 23, I can take the head off without heating it

Yeah Christians newest scan is like almost gummy. Is that how these new figures feel?
