This rumor has been going around for a couple of weeks. Rumor has it Spike wants to keep it and is willing to buy the rights if the Carter's sell it. Would be a perfect opportunity for Bischoff to get it, seeing as how he wanted WCW. But dear god the possibilities of crap ranging from Midget wrestling to the Humping yeti come to mind. But I guess Anything is better than nothing. If Bischoff buys it maybe he'll actually give two rips about it since its comin outta his pocket. Disagree 100%. You ever have one of your favorite somethings stick around too long? To the point that you can't watch because it's terrible? Yea, let it go. I'd gladly bury TNA than have it become terrible, unwatchable garbage. Also, yea, TNA is doing fine.

Getting a loan for this... Why? You could buy it with the change between your couch cushions.

If true then I really hope the Jarretts buy it back, really don't want to see them go down or be sold to WWE.

I for one would have no problems if WWE bought TNA, as long as they kept it running (not sure were they would be on Television). WWE could use TNA as another brand to build up talent. NXT is most shown internationally, while TNA as brand could be used as step below the Main Roster as WWE tries out talent on North American Television.
With that said I hope WWE doesn't buy TNA. I would like to see someone buy it who truly has a passion for the business (Turner anyone) and is willing to slowly grow the brand, unlike what Hogan and Bischoff did.

Call me spoiled, but for the last 11 years, I've kinda liked having a wrestling option to watch to WWE, well at least the years when they weren't trying to do everything WWE did....ohhhhh like they're doing now

It's kinda degrading for scott hall to say who in tna does wwe wanna acquire totally buried the roster there to think that guy actually no show a event from that company year ago has the cheek to say that... At least I think wwe would like to hire kurt angle sting for stardom attraction

If true then I really hope the Jarretts buy it back They can't afford to run a wrestling company that loses money. That's why they got Dixie involved back at the beginning, because TNA was going to die quickly otherwise. At least I think wwe would like to hire kurt angle Nope. Angle's been trying to get a WWE contract the last few times his TNA deal was expiring, and WWE aren't interested. He's too much of a liability.

we should all pitch in and buy it and turn that some' bitch into genuine competition.(Because you know, we actually know what we are talking about unlike half of the dipsh**s that work in creative teams nowadays).

I'm a little late to the party, and I don't feel like reading 3 pages of posts, so if this was already said, oh well.
If Carters were looking to get out of the wrestling business, Dixie wouldn't become a on air character every week, especially one that's basically the companies biggest heel in the main event scene. If they wanted out of wrestling, they wouldn't dive deeper into it.

Not gonna believe it.. not enough evidence to back this story up. Perhaps when the Carters speak up about this for themselves... I'll give a flip then. Til then, this news is complete garbage that needs to be piled right next to the many years of Sting vs. Undertaker (dream match) rumors collection - volume one.

I said it before and I'll say it again. In 3 Months when you all see TNA looking like this... You're feel pretty stupid talking about how much of a 'failure' this company is. Ridiculous.

But what makes you say that? Especially when their BIGGEST show of the year, looked like this: because they're filming 8 Shows in the U.K.

Damn picture, But what makes you say that? Especially when their BIGGEST show of the year, looked like this: because they're filming 8 Shows in the U.K. And when they come back to the states and go back to empty arena matches, then what?

I've been hearing these news for about a month now. Honestly, if the Carter did sell TNA, it's not gonna be like WCW. I'm willing to bet Spike TV would buy TNA since they're happy with their ratings and they want TNA to stay on their network (don't know why if you ask me lol) I did hear a suggestion by the Solomonster podcast about WWE buying TNA because of the lawsuit Daffney and I think Jesse Sorenson is in on it as well (he said the lawyer has a second client that wasn't named but he thinks it's Jesse) has on TNA. If WWE does buy it (which I seriously doubt will happen), then goodbye TNA. Hopefully we get someone who is serious about wrestling buying TNA (even though I remember hearing Jim Cornette say that anyone who has the money doesn't like wrestling and anyone who loves wrestling doesn't have the money to buy a company.)

Who cares. It's America. Everyone know's TNA's best shows are in the UK in January. Thats a great way to look at things. It's the American's that have let this company die. If anybody here cared - at all - They wouldn't be making Jokes, they'd be buying tickets. They'd be buying merchandise. They'd be trying to support TNA. But nope, 'Oh I hope jeff Hardy goes back to WWE!' Over here? TNA - Number 1 Wrestling Show watched. Merchandise constantly selling. It's important and it's loved.

Who cares. It's America. Everyone know's TNA's best shows are in the UK in January. Thats a great way to look at things. I don't mean to bash, but I have to disagree. By the logic of "Who cares. It's America. Everyone knows TNA's best shows are in the UK", then why doesn't TNA just relocate to the UK? I mean, TNA is an American wrestling company. Sure they do great business overseas, especially the UK, but it does matter that they do poorly in the states, THAT'S WHERE THE F***ING COMPANY IS BASED IN!!!
