Damn picture, TNA! TNA! TNA! By the logic of "Who cares. It's America. Everyone knows TNA's best shows are in the UK", then why doesn't TNA just relocate to the UK? Because they can only sell tickets here in the UK for one tour a year. If they ran over here more regularly than that, the arenas would be as empty as they are in the states.

People seem to forget this is the TNA board and this is a TNA topic that has NOTHING to do with WWE... keep it that way or I'll lock it up.

Thats a great way to look at things. It's the American's that have let this company die. If anybody here cared - at all - They wouldn't be making Jokes, they'd be buying tickets. They'd be buying merchandise. They'd be trying to support TNA. But nope, 'Oh I hope jeff Hardy goes back to WWE!' Over here? TNA - Number 1 Wrestling Show watched. Merchandise constantly selling. It's important and it's loved. why does the uk love tna so much? let's be real, their product is awful right now.

IDK if you watched last weeks show - And I'm not saying you didn't - but if you did. You would have seen the awesome match between AJ and Bully Ray and the beginning of a brand new storyline around AJ Styles. It's so easy to blindly say 'This show sucks' and for me to agree with you, but if you actually watch it. And actually have something that you enjoy then it's easy to stand up for it. For me It's the wrestling. As long as there is an awesome match each week I can point too, then I'm happy and I'm satisfied. I don't know about the rest of the country, but for a while there, TNA was better then WWE. When we had AJ vs Aries. Magnus vs AJ, Sabin and Bully. There was so much positive to point too. And all people was talking about was how 'TNA is loosing money'. Like it affected the product at all. People act like TNA are selling all of their HD Cameras and filming in Standard Definition.

A Bidding war. The winner? Meet Fusient Media Ventures. The boss? Same as the old boss, Eric Bischoff. Upon his return Bischoff is also bringing back television writer Vince Russo to put together the angles / scripts for WCW.

why does the uk love tna so much? The UK loves wrestling. TNA isn't particularly popular here -- most people wouldn't have a clue what TNA wrestling was. But it's popular enough to sell tickets for a tour once a year. Plus, TNA is available in every home here, it's not on a pay cable channel like WWE is.

I know I'm pretty new to the board but I can tell you that what Meltzer has report is somewhat true. Bob Carter ( Dixie dad ) does want to unload TNA. I know there are alot of wrestling fans that don't believe Meltzer. Dixie has been burning threw the Panda Energy International coffers and there are alot of people inside Panda Energy that don't appreciate it. Bob Carter has been wanting to get rid of TNA for a long, long time now. The Carters were wanting to get rid of TNA before Hogan and Bischoff got sign, it was Dixie that convince her parents to bankroll Hogan and Bischoff contract
Anyways, Impact Wrestling believe or not is one of the highest rated programs on that network. So I believe Viacom would take over ownership of the company before Vince has a chance to place an offer

Eric Bischoff could potentially be good, he did well with WCW but thats when he had Teds billions at his disposal, I would rather see it go to Bischoff than McMahon, and I think he could do more with it than the Carters. TBH as long as it doesn't go to the McMahons then I'm happy. If this is indeed true and someone buys TNA I hope they treat it right and bring in some proper wrestling bookers/minds to run it. I would love to see TNA give WWE a good fight.
Sadley if WWE did purchase TNA it wouldn't be anything more than an addition to their video library, they wouldn't keep it running for the simple reason they didn't invent it. they may pick up a few wrestlers contracts as well but overall I would hate to see TNA close down because it would just usher in another down period and the world of wrestling is still struggling to get out of the last one...
