Went to Kmart last night and picked up E24 Dolph and Ryback. Today I decided to open them and put them on display. I was sitting on my bed looking at Dolph when I accidentally dropped him from two feet in the air and his foot broke off the rest of his boot. Has anyone ever had a figure break this easily?

Did the exact same thing with an Elite 5 Mark Henry. About 2 foot fall to a hardwood floor. His entire leg broke off though. I was mad as hell and quit buying Mattel for a series or two!

The only two figures from Mattel I've had break were due to E14 Del Rio, and were ironically both inside the same month. E11 Christian, in a match the leg bent wrong and just snapped immediately with no warning. The other, Del Rio fell and hit E14 Booker, who fell off the dress and his leg snapped.

Why did you drop him from two feet in the air? That was very silly.

Not a mattel. I managed to break a TTL Benoit once. Them things were hard to break too.

My E12 Orton had loose feet so I stood him up and as soon as I looked away he tilted and fell off the table and his whole leg came off. My luck... :/

My first thought was to glue the foot, repack him and get my money back, but I'm not that much of a d**k. I'm going to swap boots with my champions 4 pack basic Dolph.

I dropped my figures like 5 feet from a shelf. Not even a mark.

It's perfectly fine to get the figure replaced, stating that it was broken when you take it to the store. You paid money for it, it was brand new, you deserve a figure that isn't broken.

I've had a couple of figures break, as I play with mine, I don't care what anyone thinks, but I like playing with wrestling figures, chills me out a bit
The only times it's happened was when I had a Hell in a Cell match with Rey and Orton, they were on top and Randy delivered an RKO, and that's when Reys leg came off
The most weirdest time a figure was broken was an old basic Undertaker, I was doing his entrance, and all of a sudden his leg came off, I tried to put it back on but he pretty much just fell to pieces, it's funny too because it was The Undertaker's, of all entrances, he walks really slow too so I don't know how that happened

Errmm, but the figure wasn't broken when he bought it....he broke the figure by dropping it onto the floor. Returning it to the store saying it was already broken when it was taken out of the packaging, now that would be lying, right?

Did it break or was the foot just taken out of the peg?

If the fall was as minor as the OP says, chances are there was a defect in the plastic that caused it to break off. Most retail stores have a however many day-long period wherein items can be returned. Now, if he were thrashing the figure around and beating it to hell, that would be a dishonest thing to do.
