From the poor quality of the belts, & strange upper-thigh articulation without hip joints, these will most likely be 4 inch scale, which I find very exciting.

Reminds me of the wcw figures that had the magnets on their hands. I had so much fun with those, but these look like garbage

My guess is giant sized flex force figures. Won't interest me, but like the maximum aggression figures jakks did I'm sure some people will love them

If these are 12 inches they have potential to be awsome

what is the world of collecting coming to? These are likely going to be aimed at kids, not collectors, so this shouldn't affect the "world of collecting." Actually all the crap that Mattel puts out will affect the "world of collecting". All this junk clogs the shelves and means less shelf space for stuff that will actually move.

If this means the end of the Power Slammers line, then I'm all for them! In all my years of collecting wrestling figures, I've NEVER seen a line of figures take up so much shelf space and never move at all as much as the Power Slammers.

reminds me of Jakks bone crunching action That's what I was thinking. I do hope they use that Punk head in future Basic/Elite sets.

All this junk clogs the shelves and means less shelf space for stuff that will actually move. Why do you think they put all this cr@p out? Because that is what retailers want. If Mattel wasn't making this cr@p as you put it the WWE brand would probably die at retail, because they wouldn't be ordering more Basics and Elites to fill their shelves. And most parents aren't dropping $17+ on an elite figure just because it is Tuesday. They only buy them for special occassions like holidays/birthdays. Retailers know this and that's why they want lines like Rumblers and Flexforce (when they were out) of course it took retailers 2 or 3 years to realize the FF weren't selling like they thought they would...so they stopped ordering them and Mattel and started with the motorized figures. Plus Mattel would use that budget on something else and not on more Basics or Elites.

I'm hoping these are 3 3/4" but I'd have preferred a more gi joe style of articulation.

They look like they work by squeezing the legs together and that causes their arms to 'strike' with the belt or weapon they have in their hand.

They kinda remind me of BCAs in a way. Would not mind a line like that.

There is no form of joint anywhere within the crotch/hip area. There's just one twisting joint at the upper thigh., The joint appears very similiar to the upper calf joint on various basic figures. also, am I the ONLY one who thinks those accessories look as if they could've been have printed from the custom accessories board?
