If we get a fricking Hugh Morris figure (who, by all accounts, is a giant douchebag who thinks he's way better than he actually ever was, and tries to bully young talent to make himself feel better; and is just simply a POS human being) before the THOUSANDS of other, REAL legends that deserve a figure, it'll seriously be an atrocity. Why the would Mattel even scan the dirtbag?

I would really like to see a Hugh Morris figure. If Mattel makes it, I hope it's based on his 1997 match with Goldberg.

I personally think the kids here should not be collecting figures but indeed be watching past WWF and WCW DVDs to get educated before they come here. I despise this logic. So if you haven't heard of someone or don't feel they are worthy of a figure, you should go out and conduct a research project just so you can feel compelled to drop $20+ of your hard-earned money to buy it?? How about the fact that people collect because they wanna be reminded of their own favorite moments or wrestlers from childhood? Not everyone collects because they unreasonably expect EVERY wrestler to get a figure or because they feel a need to know about everything. If you want to go buy documentaries about people you don't know or watch youtube vids of a person who has no emotional connection to your recollection of wrestling, then you go right ahead. But that doesn't mean the rest of us should. This isn't a civics class, where knowing who Truman's Secretary of State was and why he is revered can make you a more informed voter on contemporary issues. This is ENTERTAINMENT! People have the right to not know or care about it. And they have no social duty to learn about Hugh Morris or Magnum TA or other wrestlers. Don't tell ME how I should spend my time and money.

Then do NOT claim it is a hobby you love then. Because I despise the utter disregard for wrestling's past by saying "who"? all smug and sarcastically. I despise people claiming John Cena is the best while NEVER bothering to check out wrestling's history to actually see who was the best wrestler.

I honestly do not know why they would even consider making this stiff.

Then do NOT claim it is a hobby you love then. Why do I have to know or care about every wrestler to love the hobby of collecting wrestling figures? You don't have to be a completist to love it. I love this hobby because it brings back good memories. Don't tell me I don't love it because I don't feel compelled to find out about wrestlers who made ZERO direct impact on my childhood memories. I collect to stimulate my memories and experiences, not to laud the history of wrestling. There is no prerequisite to being a collector. There is no knowledge test someone must pass in order to participate in this hobby. We all spend OUR money for OUR own reasons. If YOUR collection is based on an understanding and appreciation of the history of the business, that's cool! But don't come on here and tell people they shouldn't collect or they don't "love" the hobby just because they have a different approach than you.

I'm all for midcard-flashbacks but Hugh is really pushing it. I wouldn't drop almost $20 on it. Give us a "Harlem Heat" Booker T, "Man of 1,004 Holds" Chris Jericho, "BPP" Scott Steiner, or "Screamin" Norman Smiley w/ football pads. Sadly this will probably be released and when it sells horribly Mattel will claim it is proof that WCW guys don't sell

This would be an interesting figure. Demott had one of those bodies that often make for inaccurate figs. He was thick in the waist, but not fat. He had lots of muscle mass, but not the ripped, bodybuilder muscles. I have a feeling this fig would end up like the E22 Tensai.

If this figure actually comes out, MDT will lose all credibility for all the reasons they've cited in the past to not release various fan demanded figures. A Hugh ING Morris figure before we get a Scott Hall, Ric Flair or Jericho? FOH.

Hell yes! I always liked Hugh Morris because of the No Laughing Matter. You gotta respect a fat boy that can get up there like that without killing guys lol!
Yes, I know what we've all heard about him too. But from a wrestling standpoint only, I respect his talent. He was a decent mid-carder and personally I enjoyed his run as General Rection.
He'd be a solid addition to the Mattel WCW guys.

Hey guys look. The way I see it is as long as they keep consistently pumping out "First Time In The Liners" while mass producing all these other cheese dicks over and over again, We're on the right path... with time and patience I think we'll get most of what we need.

Just because hugh morris is not that popular of a wcw performer then we can't say we love collecting mattel wwe figures?

The various reports of former developmental talent about his abusive nature, his attitude and sense of self-importance on the 2011 Tough Enough (where he seemed way more aloof and arrogant than the 3 ACTUAL legends of the business he was training the cast with) and his lackluster performances throughout his career all lead me to say what I said.

I guess I will take one, I mean in all honesty I gave Johnny Ace the belt in my company I might as well have Hugh announce while I'm at it.

If they do make Hugh, I want them to make him in this attire. Then make a Goldberg to annihilate him with.
