Hugh Morris? No. Bill DeMott? Yes. But considering on how he were to turn out, it might be an easy conversion.

I can think of 50 guys that I would want before this jobber is ever made. Riiiight, but there are also 50 jobbers I'd rather see made than ANOTHER in' John Cena too.

Hey guys look. The way I see it is as long as they keep consistently pumping out "First Time In The Liners" while mass producing all these other cheese dicks over and over again, We're on the right path... with time and patience I think we'll get most of what we need. I disagree. Another repainted John Cena or Randy Orton has the same value as this middle-carding jobber from the past. NEITHER will make it into my shopping cart. If I have to choose, I'll take the repaint because I honestly believe it will sell better anyway, and I want to keep the line alive.

Well of course you know the real reason they keep making repaints, because they keep losing money! Am I right or am I right?

Hugh Morris wouldn't sell to mass retail. There's a ton of collectors here who don't even remember him. He would make a cool looking figure. But Mattel has as much a chance to sell him at retail as they do making up their own character and selling it at retail.
I would only buy him if he was an easy anvil fix up like others said. So my votes yes for that reason only

I know him more as Bill Demott, the trainer on Tough Enough. And hell no. I'd buy 11 Cena's in khaki shorts before a Hugh Morris.

Would be good for customising. And the more variety the better in my opinion. I don't think anyone is arguing against variety. This is just a plain ridiculous choice. Mattel could ACTUALLY make these if they go by who is signed to WWE in other capacities, such as trainers, road agents, announcers, etc: Ricky Steamboat (updated body, he should have never been so thin) 123 Kid (Or Syxx, or X-Pac) Booker T (Harlem Heat or any WCW attire) William Regal (WCW attire would be cool) Billy Gunn and Road Dogg (remember, they've only had one release in over a decade in the WWE line, more people will buy) Joey Mercury Eugene Dean Malenko IRS Jamie Noble Billy Kidman (flock attire!) Lex Luger (WCW) ...and we're talking about Hugh Morris? LOL! But the question posed was; Morris has been scanned, would you buy him? Yes, I would. Do I think there are more deserving wrestlers out there that could do with a figure ABSOLUTELY. Especially from WCW.

This just goes to show how much better WWE was at marketing their low-mid card guys than WCW.
To me Hugh Morrus was memorable. He was involved in the infamous Dungeon of Doom storyline. He was a staple of the weekend WCW shows picking up wins over jobbers. He usually was a guy who lost to the big stars on Nitro and Thunder. He was always kept strong enough with wins here or there on big shows so that beating him meant more than beating a jobber. Then the guy has a decent feud with Lance Storm in WCW and wins the US Title twice. Not to mention he was a trainer on two different seasons of Tough Enough.
When you consider that WCW is the number two promotion of all time...the fact that there are more people on the board that probably want an action figure of TL Hopper who never had a career highlight over Bill Demott who legit had a decent career is amazing and shows how great WWE is at making guys look like stars.

Dude. Bill Demott is one of the bigger scumbags in WWEs backstage area. Need I remind all of you how he got kicks off of making his trainees wrestle NAKED, and got canned from the top trainer position. How he still has a job is way beyond me.

If anything this thread is proof that there should be a new poll by Mattel asking who the collectors are interested in most. The last survey was a train wreck. Doubt another one would help. Luger poll? How was it a train wreck. It seemed pretty successful to me.
