So who here is getting there ps4 or Xbox one on launch? Plus what else are you getting with it?
I'm getting a ps4 from game on midnight release I cannot wait now! It's nearly here.
So this is what I'm getting.
ps4 killzone shadowfall bundle
Limited blue duleshock 4 pad
COD Ghosts
Battlefield 4
AC black flag
Fifa 14
Knack
Lego Marvel
Was going to get watch dogs but not out now until next year :#
So what are you guys and girls getting.

I am actually thinking about canceling my X1 pre-order and not getting anything at launch. I don't think any launch titles are most own. That or I may cancel it and pick up a PS4 in January with all of the XB1 resolution (1080p does matter to me) issues becoming apparent and that fact that I couldn't care less about the Kinect.

Both. Xbox One first. No external memory for PS4 and all games requiring about 40gig installs is a major turn off. I was all about PS4 at first but Xbox One has looked really impressive lately. It feels more next gen.

I'm leaning towards PS4 sometime next year, but none of the launch titles for either system are blowing me away. Microsoft has just pissed me off to much to want to deal with them again - I hate how they want the Xbox to do anything and everything - I just want it to play good games! The Kinect being forced on us ain't helping, either.

Probably not Getting a PS4 until Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us 2 comes out.

I'm leaning towards PS4 sometime next year, but none of the launch titles for either system are blowing me away. Microsoft has just pissed me off to much to want to deal with them again - I hate how they want the Xbox to do anything and everything - I just want it to play good games! The Kinect being forced on us ain't helping, either. I'm basically in the same boat with Microsoft. I mean the kinect uses 10% of the consoles power so the developers can only access 90% of the console for their games. Honestly if they didn't have Halo then I would have already written the system off and even then, 343i didn't exactly due the franchise right after putting out the weakest multiplayer the series has seen and the most linear campaign the series has seen. For $500, the system should be able to do 1080p/60 fps on most games. Insiders are claiming that Halo 5 won't be 1080p and that is the flagship title for Xbox. The big problem is going to be when future titles straddle the PS4 and push it to 720p/60, then what happens to the X1 versions? |

I'm getting PS4 and picked up my games today (BF4 and AC4 Collectors Edition). They also had the XONE and PS4 demos set up at Gamestop. I played Knack for just a few minutes just to feel the controller an it feels just as good as I expected. Same feel as DS3 but with a meatier weight too it, and more comfortable. It has a great shape and feel in the hands. Great design that was executed poorly on DS3 was perfected for the PS4 version. Can't wait.

Assassin's Creed 4 for the PS4. I was also planning on getting Watch Dogs but that's not happening now.

Whichever one has a price cut due to overstocking of it first, probably.
Had both in the last gen, and still have my PS3 for 07. So I'd probably be inclined to move towards the PS4.

I actually cancelled my PS4 pre order this week.
I'm still really excited for the console and will definitely be getting one, but there isn't a single game in the launch line up that I'm dying to play so I'm going to hold out until something crops up that really catches my eye. That'll probably be Destiny.

Sadly the cross gen games are going to continue at least until next fall and most likely into 2015 as well.
