My point is that people who are arguing for GSP are saying that GSP "supposedly" landed more strikes. And I don't know how significant damage is counted but if I didn't watch the fight and only saw the aftermath of the two fighters, I'd say that Hendricks did a whole lot more damage. Not just because GSP was looking like crap but just the body language as well, GSP was hobbling around after the fight while Hendricks showed no signs of damage. But I'm not a judge, just my two cents. I think that's the problem with the scoring, the judges need to take a look at the whole fight instead of round by round, let's say for an example if a guy wins 2 rounds convincingly and just loses two other rounds barely, the fight should favour this guy but the judging is just based on who wins each round which makes it so hard to pick a winner. I really hope GSP actually doesn't play to just leave for awhile after this. |

Totally agree... I think that's a big issue with this fight - Hendricks won his two rounds convincingly, beat GSP up, and looked like the winner of the fight to most people. But using the 10-point system, round by round, it becomes a much closer fight. |

Did they count the knees he was throwing to the thighs? This was a robbery.. shame to see it go down this way.

I know I'm late, but I scored the fight for GSP. It was VERY, VERY close, and I wouldn't have complained if they gave it to Hendricks, but I scored it for GSP 3 rounds to 1.
I need to watch it a second time though.
