not sure if this needed its own thread or not, but I came across this and haven't seen it reported on here (sorry if it has and I missed it) its the regular WWE Championship in K-Mart exclusive Survivor Series packaging, seems kind of pointless.

There's probably just some contractual obligation where they have to make new things just for the Kmart Survivor Series promotion, and these are technically new due to the packaging. On a related note, the blue/orange packaging is rolling out on the title belts, too. Grim found the WWE title. It looks pretty good.

If any of you intend to buy a toy Big W, I suggest you get the one from WWE directly. Sorry I haven't had the time to post pics comparing the two versions, but trust me, the WWE version is much better than the Mattel version.

I actually like the Red and White packaging better on these. The new figure carding is great, but I don't think it translates on these. I'll be curious to see how the packaging looks on the Rings and other non-figure stuff. a little better picture I posted last week.

It is kinda pointless with the Survivor Series and K-Mart central add ons on the packaging. It would be cool if it had say some RKO sideplates instead..haha.. And the new packaging looks really great btw! If any of you intend to buy a toy Big W, I suggest you get the one from WWE directly. Sorry I haven't had the time to post pics comparing the two versions, but trust me, the WWE version is much better than the Mattel version. And the only one here that I know has bought the WWE Championship Big Logo toy belt from WWE Shop is King Patrick Star. And yeah, I'm still waiting to see some detailed photos of that belt... And it has glued on faux stones unlike the Mattel one. Its also noticeably bigger than the Mattel kids belt.

Tbh, what a waste of cardboard. They could have just made a K mart and Survivor Series sticker and put on there. I assume those aren't stickers.

I've also seen the World Title and Tag Titles in the new blue packaging at a Kmart. Yeah.. They're slowly phasing out the current white packaging.. Any idea how long Mattel have used the white one for the WWE toys? I know they started out with the black one. Do they change the theme of their packaging every 2 years or so?

They used the black packaging for 2010 & 2011. 2011 was slightly different than 2010. 2012 & 2013 had the white packaging with slight changes in 2013. So they change every year, but do a complete overhaul every 2 years.

kinda pointless,considering:
A) the new WWE Championship is shelfwarming now,big time. they WAY overpacked them into the belt cases.
B) literally,my k-Mart has the exact same toy in 3 different packages - the original white and red,the new blue, and now this SS packaging.
