I just got the Backstage Brawl playset today and this thing is huge. I knew it wasn't small but I almost didn't have room for it. Personally I love it and it reminds me the Jakks days when the Backstage Mayhem Playset came out, which I thought was like the coolest thing ever at the time. I called my local TRU everyday after school for over a month straight until they finally got it in. Overall, I prefer the Backstage Brawl playset. the only downside is the cardboard but it isn't too bad and looks really good. I am hoping that mattel makes more accessories that can be added on.

Wish they sold them in the U.K. I too would have no room for it, but it's a thing of beauty. Makes me wish I still had the Jakks Backstage set... *sigh*

I remember when Jakks released the proto for the Backstage Brawl Set. It looked pretty awesome and THIS was the final product It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as awesome as the proto, in my opinion.

I love my backstage brawl Mattel set. I incorporated a few Jakks pieces to make it a super backstage set!

I don't remember that Backstage Brawl playset. Isn't it the same as the WWE Training Day playset? Which of those came out first?
The proto looks way cooler.

The Training Day set came with Scott Steiner, Al Snow, the Rock, and maybe Triple H. I guess that must have been out before this set, which has CM Punk on the box. So I probably just blacked out about this whole thing because it was a re-release of a re-release.

I think Trax West just came with a TTL Al Snow. Was the Al Snow in Training Day an RA?

Yeah, it looks like the Trax West playset. But I hadn't heard of that before. So the Training Day was just a re-release of it? These were all the same set with different names? Hall of Pain Trax West Training Day Backstage Brawl They changed some of the designs on the cardboard backdrop, and Hall of Pain had R3 features that I assume got taken out for the other sets. I guess they all had different accessories too, but yeah, the basic playset pieces seem the same.

I just painted my Backstage Mayhem set black and red and pretty much, added some life into it so to speak. I will always love that thing but I really do want that Mattel backstage set.
