Because god knows you need that Hogan figure. And it would be so difficult to make a custom out of the old R3 head. Because God knows that everyone wants their collections to consist of old Jakks parts haphazardly thrown onto spare HHH bodies.

And it's down to you what you do with your collections. I tend to make customs instead of spamming the mattel board asking for Scotty 2 Hottys, Kurt Angles, Chris Benoits and Taz's to be made.

We got Brock in like 6 months, so I'm guessing that's like the absolute fastest, especially considering Hogan's simplicity (at least his classic look). How do you figure 6 months? Brock returned the night after Wrestlemania and he popped up at RSC in December.

The soonest I can see Hogan out is by Christmas next year. There is the chance of something in late Fall next year but it really depends on how fast he signs a deal.

Yeah, I don't understand why people are wanting Mattel to Hall/Nash or Giant/Big Show Hogan, it makes zero sense. Red and Yellow Hogan and NWO hogan are going to sell great, no need to 50/50 their distribution.
The only 50/50 they could do, is Yellow Hulkamania and Red Hulkamania t-shirts, and I'm not even sure they should do that.

Hogan would probably be an easy figure to produce since he only wore yellow and red and it could include both shirts with it.

That's the fourth month. December is the 12th month. I don't know where you come from, but where this rocket scientist went to school, 12-4=8. Maybe it's six where you come from, in which case, I apologize.

He says Brock came out in six months. 2. I say Brock didn't come out that fast, it was more like 8 months. 3. You insult me and question my math. 4. I show you that my math was correct. 5. Your response is that Hogan wouldn't come out sooner than Brock...? Which I never contended in the first place. Nope, still not sure what your problem was in the first place.

I've never seen a good Mattel Hogan, definitely none that would eliminate the need for a Mattel. I was never the biggest fan of any of the Jakks Hogan heads aside from the CS 8 Hollywood head, which was spot on, but only from Wrestlemania 9 and on. The younger CS8 Hogan head was ALRIGHT, but I didn't think it was fantastic. The first from the nWo series always looked strange to me, particularly the hair. The sculpted beard certainly did it no favors either, particularly for the 80's Hogan customs. The expression was also very bizarre. The one from the 2 pack with Warrior resembled him, but still looked off, and it was huge. The CSDA head was terrible. The one from the mail away, aside from being gigantic, didn't really capture the likeness all that well (particularly the eyes and mouth). The Thunderlips head was really good, but also gigantic. The TNA heads (besides series 2, which looked constipated) are pretty good likenesses, but only for a very old current Hogan. I don't even know why anyone would argue against Mattel making a Hogan considering he is number one most wanted on a lot of people's lists and in the top five on more still.
As for the turnaround, if he were hypothetically already signed I would be shocked if they didn't bump pretty much anyone in any lineup to get Hogan out in 2014.

They did get the Basic out a little sooner, but it mostly comes down to me being lazy and not counting the months (plus I couldn't remember if that wave came out in November or December)
