until we would realistically get a figure of him? Just curious, don't really know the production cycles for Mattel.

If I had to guess... he'd most likely be put into an "express" production. All hands on deck sorta thing. That being said I'd be willing to bet around 9 months.

We got Brock in like 6 months, so I'm guessing that's like the absolute fastest, especially considering Hogan's simplicity (at least his classic look).

Between 6 -9 months, they have the parts, and the paint colors already so its really just a head sculpt and production run. Thats why we got quicker turn around on guys like Tensai, Shield, Brock,

I'm sure in 6 months we'd have at the very least a basic 80's Hogan. An Elite 80's Hogan would be in the 6-7 month range as well. Anything else has a lot more detail (nWo Hogan, Hulk Still Rules, etc) and I'd see taking a year.

the issue isn't how quickly they could make one. the issue is how quickly they can fit him into an assortment. cause they usually have their lineup's set WAY in advance. of course, they could always bump someone to fit him in,they've done that before.

TLhey said all of 2014 is already planned out. But like others have said, I'm sure they'd bump someone for the Hulkster.

I would guess they would fast track him for sure! If the rumours are true that he may only be coming in to do mania 30 and an induction for now, then they may work even harder to rush him out quickly at the expense of someone else In the lineups

I hope when they sign him, he will get a new torso, as I feel none of the current torsos accurately portray him.

I think the Brock one would be pretty good. Looking at him and Brock when they wrestled, they were about the same size. A new crotch piece would be good though, for his high waisted style trunks he wore.
I'm just hoping for tall boots (which we don't always get when we need them) and no leg sleeves.

I'm pretty sure if they get the rights to Hulk, they'll bump whomever is necessary to fit him in. I just can't see Bill sitting back and saying "Whelp...we got Hulk Hogan ready to go, but we promised that spot to Cameron, so he'll have to wait!".

If I were mattel I'd have sculpts and everything already done for Hogan(same for Flair, Sting, Goldberg, Hall...). That way they could pull the trigger that much faster, and capitalize on the mania of his return. Then bump whatever Cena, Orton, Rey, Big Show, Del Rio or Miz is necessary lol. The turnaround time on Hogan could be their fastest ever.

I personally think the Brock one is too massive. The customs of him I've seen on here using the Brock torso didn't look right to me. Just my opinion though.

If they get to make Hogan, should they re-release Andre?
Make it a little different than the one we already have. Painted on singlet, Torn up Hogan shirt(Piper's Pit) and maybe an angrier scan?
Seeing a Flashback Hogan and a Flashback Andre on the shelves at the same time would be very cool.

Because god knows you need that Hogan figure. And it would be so difficult to make a custom out of the old R3 head.

I also think Hogan will debut as an Elite.ideally like Big Show/Giant and NOT the Nash/Diesel fiasco. all these future split releases should follow the Giant/Big Show approach.take Waltman for example.....we will probably see a 123 Kid/X-pac split for him.or maybe not!

Brock came back in April 2012. His elite 19 figure shipped from RSC in December 2012 [8 months]
Mick Foley came back in November 2011. His elite 17 figure shipped from RSC in August 2012 [9 months]
Those figures had new tooling w/ Brocks shorts and Mankind's sweatpants. I don't think Hulk would get much new tooling. My guess would be 7 months tops
