 was basically on a hiatus from collecting wrestling figures during the time this figure came out. But I would always check RSC just to see all the new stuff that they would come out with. Anyways for some reason when the protos for this figure were first shown or the pre orders went up or something IDFK. But it was originally listed as "Gillberg" which made sence because the face looked like him and all. Now I can't remember whether or not I actually saw a Proto pic along with the Gillberg pre order. But I feel like I did and like he had a skinny body like he was supposed to. But with that same headscan. Anyway a few weeks later it was switched to Goldberg and they put that same goofy scan on a Goldberg body. Am I just imagining stuff here or is my memory on point and is there a back story behind this ?? |

While they could have I don't remember them releasing Goldberg in the CS line in those shorts (I know they did in the RA or AD line with his first scan) but that is one of Goldberg's Jakks scans. I think it was his last scan.

so no one remembers this? I sware on everything when the series line up for CS whatever this was first leaked out. It was Gillberg. Then they must of ran into production issues and changed it to Goldberg. Because this set came out like not too long after the first CS goldberg, and Im telling you that scan coulndt have possibly been for Goldberg. It looks like Gillberg with minor tweaks to maker it look slightly more like goldberg.

I don't remember seeing Gillberg prototype. I don't like that headscan for a Goldberg figure though.

That figure came out in like series 27 I believe.
I vaguely remember a proposed Gillberg figure, but may have been speculated back in 07/08 and didn't get part name status.

Goldberg scan for sure, I also don't recall any Gilberg plans.
I liked all goldberg figures, the face is a bit goofy but you just gotta love ryback..... I mean Goldberg!

Is this the one that sells for a crap ton on eBay? Or is that CS Goldberg in his WCW era trunks?
Seen the both of them on eBay. Just unsure which I saw sell for a lot of money.

The head scan looks 100 percent like Goldberg when he smirks. Problem is I can't recall him smirking in a wrestling setting. He is usually pretty intense and serious.

- such a poor release, considering they had released this version of Goldberg before & with the logo on the shorts this was a worthless release IMO.
