Well to sum it up quickly I'll go with yes but it won't be anytime soon. Probably in a few years. It sucks how the guy has fallen so low but WWE needs to give him a f*cking chance at least. It'll be much better then seeing the same old top guys in the spotlight and Barrett could easily be one of the best heels in over a decade. He has the size that Vince loves, charisma, mic skills and in ring skills. If WWE actually gave him some good mid card feuds or feuds with main eventers then everyone will be reminded of how good Barrett really is because as of late everyone has forgotten nearly everything about the guy.
So do you think his chance has gone or will he still become the first English World Champion?

Not this year. Probably not next.
Is the Big One seen as World heavyweight title or WWE Title?

I see "the big one" as the WWE Championship. And no I don't think he will.

Man it kills to know that the same guys currently World Champions have been Main Eventing for like the past 8 years. -It's not like it was a Hogan or Savage where they went to a different company, but killing the surrounding talent with the exceptions of some(which this should of been more) sucks. Cena should be like 5 time Champion right now, Orton should be like around the same.

Maybe. The soonest I can see him with the belt is in 3-5 years, and that's only if he ever does win it. He does have the potential, it's a matter of wwe capitalizing on it.

He hasn't done a single thing to deserve to be any kind of champion. From his gimmick, to his endless number of entrance themes, to his non-existant personality... he doesn't have it. They can push him and repackage him all they want, but the guy isn't the least bit interesting.

Go Barrett or go home. He deserves a push or at least a good main event/higher mid card feud to get him some recognition. He was the next big thing in that Nexus/Cena feud. He almost had the damn title! Hopefully he returns to be one of the best heels and have a great, let's say WWE title run. I can see him having an alright reign in a similar way of retaining the title like Punk. MITB maybe?

I sure hope he never goes anywhere near the main event scene. Guy bores me to tears.

I thought when his vignettes were playing he should have beaten Sheamus for the belt and not Big Show

Most on here love him, but no he doesn't deserve it. He's never shown anything special or different.

The WWE championship is the big one, that means you're the face of the company. As for Barrett im puzzled why he hasnt atleast been given the world heavyweight championship. He can cut a convincing promo as a top heel, hes got the size and look so i dont know what WWE are planning for him. I think hes one of the best guys they have.

All of you guys seem to forget that in the current state of WWE, you don't actually need any sort of big, long build to win a major championship. You don't even need to be on a win streak. You don't need years in the company.

I think Barrett has everything to be a top heel. He has evil face, he's strong, tall and has skills. But I don't know why he is not on the top.
