He has all the tools needed to be a world champion. But this is WWE's fault. They need to give him direction and stick to it.

Hopefully not, hes a mediocre wrestler at best and his promo's are a bore fest.

Yeah, he definitely has what it takes, the WWE just needs to give him the chance do prove it. I really want to see him as WWE Champion.

A guy who has had like 10 theme songs in the past 4 years does not get the WWE Title.
The fact he still has a job amazes me actually. They had the shot to make him a star in 2010 if they would have had him beat Orton for the WWE Title and make Nexus a threat for a long time, but they chose to job him out, and hand Nexus to CM Punk.
WWE feels if the main guys like Punk, Orton and Cena work, don't do anything different then.

Barrett has the complete package. He's good in the ring, physically dominating, great on the mic and can wrestle most styles.
The WWE has never given him ANYTHING to work with after Nexus. Where they effectively killed him dead going against, who else? Cena
The entire Nexus angle was created to make John Cena look strong and unbeatable.
Wade was the scapegoat, and never really recovered.
But that doesn't mean he won't ever be a world Champion....he's only really been in the company for 3 years.

As a wrestling fan, I hope not. I think he's one of the least interesting, most boring wrestlers on the roster.
As a person, I'd be happy for him if WWE came up with something for him. It's not like I dislike the guy or anything, he just does nothing for me as an entertainer.

I think he can, but that's if HHH, HBK, Stephanie, & Vince all approve…..if one doesn't like the idea, he's in trouble
It will prob also take Orton getting hurt or making people angry backstage & a ratings decrease while Cena has the title for them to create a change
He has a better shot than most, but I'd expect his shot is about a 40% possibility within the next year or two
