When we know its going to suck? because nothing else comes on Monday night that I would watch except football & they usually have boring games if Raw went up against tv on Thursday nights, I would just read the results

I continue to watch because I have watched wwe religiously since late 2000 and that's more than half of my lifetime. It's always been my getaway my escape. I've dealt with crap times and great times. I've gotta say. This is some of the worst few month periods I've ever witnessed. I still watch because it's just what I've done for so many years. It's almost as if it's a part of me. I unconditionally will always be a WWE fan as much as it pains me to say it at times like this.

Yeah for BOTH titles (not a unified title) Which actually has me MUCH more invested than a Long 5 month build Mania match which probably won't deliver. Do it now. TLC format( the only one they haven't done) Then start building FRESH & INTERESTING angles towards mania. No rematchamania garbage again like last year. New fresh feuds with a dream match or two if you can fit them in. WrestleMania ing 30. This is huge. They don't have time to be playing grabass.

So it looks like unification is the end goal, whether it happens at TLC or not is another story.

A couple of points.....
A). There's an interweb wrestling guy out there who every now and then posts a theory of his that I totally agree with; it's called "Battered Fan Syndrome." Much like a wife who continuously returns to her abusive husband - we, as wrestling fans, continue to return for more black eyes & nightly beat-downs because we constantly think our lover will change, & get better; but he never does.
He used to be great! He used to be funny, and intelligent, and I used to really enjoy spending 6-8 hours every week with him! He's just going through some problems right now, but he'll eventually straighten out & everything will go back to the way it used to be.... so we keep watching..... and it NEVER gets any better.... it just continues to get worse..... so why don't we just leave? Why do we voluntarily spend 6-8 hours a week seeking him out - inviting him into our home - when he just leaves us feeling empty, angry, and alone, and hurt.....
I really like this analogy & find it completely appropriate - we all would say "the battered wife should just leave the husband" - but they don't, they stay because the feel some sense of commitment; and so do wrestling fans. We feel like we're in this for the long haul, we've weathered bad storms before & we will again...... the WWE will change and get as good as it was in 2003! And 1998! And 1992! and 1989!
I realized years ago that WWE will never be as good as it was in 1992 again.... I've just accepted that my abusive husband has his flaws, but I love him anyway and I'm either going to leave - or stop complaining.
B). On the flip side - I contend that WWE is not that bad! I've been enjoying the show more often than not.... there are a lot of reasons to enjoy WWE right now! Here are several positives on WWE programming....
1. Goldust - As JBL keeps saying, he found the fountain of youth! He and Cody are an awesome tag team that just came out of the blue, and Goldust is wrestling better than he did 15 years ago! It's just breathtaking to watch....
2. JBL - His commentary is highly underrated..... he's the best guy they've got right now. He's a quieter version of Jesse Ventura, with his brutally honest remarks.... I hope they continue to use him on commentary - smart choice.
3. Antonio Cesaro - this guy is a pleasure to watch every time out! I don't want to miss any of his matches!
4. John Cena as world champ - I was skeptical of this at first - but this move has refreshed the World Title picture, and elevated Smackdown.....
5. The Shield - these guys are going to be huge, and it's cool to feel like I'm watching the "early days" of some big future superstars.... I think Reigns is about to break out, and Ambrose could be the company's top heel in 3-5 years....
6. The Matches - there have been some damn good matches this year - Brock Lesnar VS. CM Punk (Summerslam 2013) has ranked as one of my favorite matches EVER..... Antonio Cesaro & Sin Cara had several outings early this year that were like watching magic in the ring; Punk & Bryan make everyone they wrestle look 100 times better, and I'm sure their "tag team" will eventually result in them wrestling each other again..... The Shield has been good.... heck, even the Usos haven't been that bad lately....
7. Total Divas - hear me out with this - but I've actually found it interesting that there's a dual-layer going on in the divas division - there's the "kayfabe" stuff that happens on RAW.... but then if you tune into Total Divas you find that the storylines are secondary and these ladies are really a bunch of b*tches & attention whores..... I'm finding that "double look" kind of interesting - at least it make the Divas stuff somewhat more interesting than it's ever been before....
8. Damien Sandow - when given the right story - this guy is pure gold! He's been treading water a little bit the last 2-3 weeks, what happened to his feud with Cena? But he's capable of a lot, can't wait to see what he does next....
I do think they need to purge the roster soon of some "dead weight".... there are several guys who just aren't drawing and yet WWE continues to give them air time & shove them down our throat (Miz, *ahem)...and they also need to shake up the main event picture - The Royal Rumble is coming, I suspect that things will get interesting really soon...
The last 3 PPV's have TANKED at the box office & WWE recognizes that - the fans ARE speaking with their wallets - And That's A Good Thing!
And I'm amazed that they can't come up with better storylines for some of these guys.... but I have a five-year-old son and we've been really enjoying watching wrestling together. And I have 2nd row seats to a "Live Event" next month and I'm really looking forward to it!
You can either enjoy WWE for what it is - or constantly complain & hope that it goes back to the way it used to be.....I choose to look for the good, the day I get fed up I'll simply stop watching. As others have stated - I quit from 2009-2011 because I found the product unwatchable. When I get to that point again, I'll do the same.

I didn't. I taped it on my DVR and fast forwarded through 95% of Raw and the 5% I actually watched sucked. This is what I've been doing for the last 3 years. I stay somewhat informed on the storylines, but what little I watch is mostly out of habit.

I watch because of people like Ziggler, the Shield, Bryan, Punk.Yes I would like better storry lines but as long as I get solid matches I'm ok with it.
