Back Aguero 14/1 for top GS. He's got 4 ridiculous games and better odds than Messi.

Normally root for countries represented by Sunderland players but not a cat's hell in chance i'm supporting USA (Altidore) or Ji-Dong Won (South Korea). Hopefully Belgium show alot of their promise and have got a good group to show it though we probably won't see the best of them until the next Euros or something.
Group A: Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon Group B: Spain, Holland, Chile, Australia Group C: Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan Group D: Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy Group E: Switzerland, Ecuador, France, Honduras Group F: Argentina, Bosnia, Iran, Nigeria Group G: Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA Group H: Belgium, Algeria, Russia, South Korea

I really can't see us progressing from the Group, and even if we do we'll get Colombia or the Ivory Coast. Just going to enjoy it for what it is and not get too emotionally attached this time. The Travel has ruined us, why we can't decide our base after the Draw has been made is beyond me. Think we'll draw Italy, lose to Uruguay then beat Costa Rica, scrape through on goal difference possibly then go out to Colombia.

Went pretty safe with my bets. England's the only one that had me thinking but they could get though.

England will get through. They seem to always scrape it out in these types of situations when there isn't heaps of pressure.

USA is screwed. That group is scary good. It's definitely the Group of Death but the USA are a capable team and could spring a surprise. Portugal and Ghana are not great teams and to say Klinsmann knows Germany very well is understatement of the century.

England's group isn't as hard as how everyone makes it out to be. Italy can be one of the most dangerous teams out there but when England actually has support and when they really do believe in themselves then they can also be one of the most dangerous teams out there. The thing is to win the WC you HAVE to believe in yourselves 100% and you HAVE to beat the best to be the best. Let's say England was in group B everyone's excuse would be 'Oh f***, we gotta deal with Brazil we're screwed' or if they drew B or G 'OH S*** WE'RE ALREADY OUT WE GOTTA DEAL WITH SPAIN/GERMANY LETS CANCEL THE FLIGHTS' etc. The day England finally believes in themselves and get supported 100% is the day they'll finally win something or progress for a change. Also, screw that crazy old fool Greg Dyke.

This is the first major competition I've NOT heard media/fans/anyone go on about how England will win it tbh. Tbf the media and fans didn't go into overdrive for Euro 2012, but I reckon that's because Crapello left so close to the tournament and gave Hodgson little time. I still remember the utterly cringeworthy adverts and whatnot for the World Cup back in 2010..
