i really like the idea of this set,however theres holes in the 30 year part.im an old school guy and the fact that all the figs slated for this set are for the new geneation and beyond minus wm 5 warrior is a letdown for me...im not sure if theres more to be added,but having a wrestlemania set witout any performers from wm1, or wm 3 is an injustice to any fan thats been a fan since wrestlemanias inception.....so board members how would you like for mattel to maybe have a slot for every basic,elite,battlepack,sigseries,dedicated to 30 years celebration o wrestlemania figure..my idea would be 30 figs all together,and run some kind of promotion where if u buy all 30 figs an exclusive figure,or elite battle pack would beyourthrough the mail....my dream exclusive pack would be hogan/andre or macho/dragon from wm 3

30 is a bit much,but its the magic number....but I'm not talkin build a figure,,I'm talkin defining moments type detail and accuracy.I'm just lookin to do this set justice.the hbk will set the world on fire,a wm3 elite savage would top that imo.speakin of build a figure,my bofppvwm29 punk came with two left arms.this happen to anyone else in a baf set?

maybe devolpe a point system through proof of purchase,30 points instead of 30 figs..but bottom line is id like tis wm set to be the best thing mattel has done so far...besides powerslammers and strikers!hahahahaha

The line is coming out next month and it isn't getting changed so get over it. 30 figures while it sounds like a good idea would be way too many and clog shelves. Sadly they can't do anything with Hogan yet, but I do believe we will get Hogan soon.

should've been Ultimate Warrior vs long haired Rick Rude, and Batista vs John Cena. if you're gonna do it,then do it right,and actually have the people who faced off in their matches in the sets.
Basic set sucks,too. Cena,Rock,and Taker will NOT sell. there's a reason the pre-order prices are so low on them. Brock MAY sell,but not as much as if they replaced him with the FB-style basic one from the BP.
Here's what the lineup should've been, in my opinion only:
Elites - 4 figures with BAF Paul Bearer pieces
WM 14 Shawn Michaels
WM X Bret Hart
WM 22 John Cena (at least it would be different with the black and white attire)
WM III Randy Savage
Basics - 6 figures
WM XIX Brock Lesnar
WM XXVIII Sheamus
WM VIII Undertaker
WM XXVI Batista
WM 14 Kane
WM VI Jake The Snake Roberts
Battle-Packs - 3 sets
WM XV - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock
WM V - The Ultimate Warrior vs Ravishing Rick Rude
WM X-8 - Chris Jericho vs Triple H

I'm actually quite disappointed with Mattel's efforts on this. I'll get the 2 Elite's,and the Warrior-Sheamus BP just for the Warrior. but,for celebrating 30 years of Mania,this is all we get? not saying 30 figures,but at least a fully fleshed out line with 4 - 6 Elite's, 6 Basics,and 3 Battle-Packs would be something.

What they should have done is had 3 series of Elites, Basics & 2-Packs and split them into decades and released them in 3 waves throughout the year. So you would have a series of all 3 lines based on WM1 - WMX, another series of all 3 based on WMXI - WMXX and finally the last sets based on WMXXI - WMXXX. And if they wanted they could have spit it so each decade was represented in each release.
First wave could have been
WM - WMX Elites
WMXI - WMXX 2-Packs
WMXXI - WMXXX Basics
Wave 2 could have been
WM - WMX 2-Packs
WMXI - WMXX Basics
WMXXI - WMXXX Elites
Wave 3 could have been
WM - WMX Basics
WMXI - WMXX Elites

I agree, this set is lackluster given all the options they have at their disposal. The ideas fellow board members have given are much better than the planned release. I only collect Undertaker but another Mohawk version is ridiculous especially since they could've done the WM 12, 13, 14 or 15 version.

Basically, two sets.
Wave 1:
6 basics
6 elites
3 two-packs
Wave 2:
6 basics
6 elites
3 two-packs
Then you cover every WrestleMania. Some guys like Undertaker or Michaels might be in both wave 1 and 2 (but from different WrestleManias).
