Anyone else as excited for this new show as I am? I heard that the show is set to air sometime in 2014 as a netflix exclusive. I loved Breaking Bad and I hope this is as good!  |

netflix exclusive? I guess that means amc passed, which makes me think it is a one season run & not good enough for the network

I am looking forward to it. I thought that Odenkirk was absolutely golden in that role in the bit parts he was in, so seeing him as a lead will be good.

Never heard of it being a netflix exclusive. Also amc passing on a show doesnt mean its bad, they wanted to can breaking bad multiple times but Sony threatened to take it to other networks.

I'm pretty sure it's not a Netflix exclusive. They just made a deal and the episode will stream on Netflix after they air, much like Breaking Bad. It'll be on AMC.
(Don't quote me on this, though. This is just what I gathered from the article I read)

This is just what I gathered from the article I read) This is exactly what the deal was. I'm really looking forward to the show. I'm interested to see how the Breaking Bad team will tackle it. |

It's exclusive to netflix in the UK, because nobody picked up Breaking Bad over here, probably going to be on tv for you guys.

Yeah the deal is this, Better Call Saul will air on AMC, then the day after the first season wraps it will be available exclusively on Netflix. Making it the Exclusive home for Better Call Saul in Latin America & Europe. Here in America it will still air on AMC first.

Ahh I see, only a Netflix exclusive in the UK.
IMO Bob Odenkirk was the perfect person to play Saul. I loved the way they introduced him into the show (Badger's lawyer and getting kidnapped by Walt and Jesse).

I'll give it a shot and I hope it can fill the shoes that it has to fill. Saul was great all the times he was used in "Breaking Bad". Let's see how well he does as the lead guy.

I loved Saul in Breaking Bad, but I really don't know how he'll do as the lead.
