I can't find that putty stuff that was recommended before in stores but I did come across plaster of paris. If this was applied with a paint brush to the figures (more less for show than playability) what are the odds that this would actually work?
Worse case scenario, I figure I move the arms and legs on the figure and the plaster will crack off leaving me with my original figure preserved underneath.

it might work but it'd be so brittle that you could only use it for display/posed figures

Nevermind on second thought. According to the side of the box it says that it heats up as it hardens. With my luck it would just eat the figure then.
Awful lot of health warnings on there as well I noticed.
