Seeing that Funko is now making WWE Minis, it got me thinking about how great WWE ReAction figures would be. Especially if they could copy the Hasbro carding.

It looks cool, but I passed. I had text pics to my Brother-in-Law seeing if he wanted it, but he said no. He's a Jaws fan. Also I don't remember if I got back to you, but that other B&N didn't have the Arrow.

Look what was waiting for me at the post office! Quint is inside the shark's stomach. Kidding. He's on back order. I should be getting him in a few weeks. Nanuet NY had a Summer Con exclusive shark with Quint in it's mouth. I think it was $30. I found this in the Rockaway Toys R Us today! So stoked!

Came accross the Evolve figures but oassed because they didn't have all their weapons from the prototypes. I'm not sure what happened, I thought someone may have repacked them, but its seems this is a mass release issue or maybe they chose to remove them due to costs. Either way, I would have had a full set had they been complete.

don't have many of these - just the Alien ones, the Horror Series, Rocketeer, and Snake Plissken - but no frigging way could I pass these up! LOL! also grabbed these to go along with them, considering, somehow, I didn't have any of the movies! also ordered a regular Shark to open. should be here Monday.

Weren't there supposed to be Buffy Legacy figures at some point? I love the Firefly ones. No. And we're not even getting a ReAction series 2 for Buffy since the first series didn't sell that well. Same goes for the Firefly figures, both Legacy and ReAction I believe. This is a problem. Funko puts out half the cast to a movie or show and goes "ok, if they sell well you'll get more!" However, collectors are going "ok, if you put out all the main characters from the movie or show we'll buy them!" The strategy doesn't work and it deterred people from buying stuff like Buffy, Goonies, and definitely Firefly. How no company has made a River figure right out of the gate yet is beyond idiotic. People who bought all the Buffy ReAction figures are being rewarded by never getting Xander or Giles, Cordelia, Faith. It's just a mess.

People who bought all the Buffy ReAction figures are being rewarded by never getting Xander or Giles, Cordelia, Faith. It's just a mess. I can see Funko's point of view though. They're trying to limit their loss if people don't buy in on what was released. I've never understood the logic behind someone saying "I won't buy them until everyone is released". If a figure is good, buy it. Don't buy it because so-and-so is also available. I bought Han and Artoo from the 6 inch Black series without confirmation that Chewie and Threepio were ever going to be made....hell, we still don't know if Threepio is ever going to be made. Now, looking at the figures that Funko chose to make for these three sets...they weren't poor choices by any means: FireflyMal, Jayne, Kaylee, Wash, and Zoe were made. That's technically the main crew of the Serenity. I personally would love to finish the rest of the main cast and get River, Simon, Book, and Inara (and I also agree that they could have very easily made the first series one with six figures by making River), but I'm sure they thought the first series would have sold a lot better than it did. BuffyBuffy, Angel, Spike, Oz, Willow, and the Gentleman were made. I'm sure they thought they made good choices. They were probably thinking that these would sell and they could very easily do a second set with the rest of the main characters. Personally I would rather have had Xander, Giles, and Faith than Angel, Oz, and the Gentleman...but like I said, they probably thought a second set was a sure thing. GooniesChunk, Data, Mikey, Mouth, and Sloth were made. Sure, I would have like to have had the Fratellis too...but the figures they made were good choices who were all main characters. Realistically, the only one of the three sets that they could have really altered much was the Buffy set. I'm sure Funko thought they had sure-fire sales on their hands and were just as disappointed as we are about what happened.
