From the lack of showing at Toy Fair, is it safe to assume that the Game of Thrones 3.75" line is dead after 1 series?

From the lack of showing at Toy Fair, is it safe to assume that the Game of Thrones 3.75" line is dead after 1 series? Not "dead" yet. The last time Reis discussed series 2, he said they're still crunching numbers. Hope is not lost yet.

If it does end up dead, that reinforces how stupid of a philosophy it was to do specific locations of the show instead of just giving us a bunch of characters we want. Funko constantly does sh*t with longterm thinking in mind and they don't make it beyond wave 1 of damn near everything they do. Definition of madness. They keep half doing everything and keep getting the same end result.
I mean 8-9 million people watch Game of Thrones. That line should be selling. Poor quality with the Legacy figures and then a 3.75" wave with 1 main character in it. Technically 2 if you were able to find the Wall. This is common sense stuff imo. Just frustrating.

I completely agree. I appreciate the fact that they want to space things out so the line can run for a while, but if people don't buy the first series, there won't be a second. It's been said time and time again. I feel like there are enough main, or at least popular, characters to give us a entire wave of heavy-hitters, and still have enough for a good second set. Series 1Tyrion Daenerys Jon Snow Ghost Hound Cersei Jaime Tormund Series 2Ned Brienne Night King Ramsay Arya Hodor Robb Melisandre Series 3 etc.

I agree with you guys 100% about the Game of Thrones line..so frustrating. I found the single packs at Target, and even the packaging was cheap. The adhesive that held the blister to the card was so weak that the packa were legit opening at thr slightest touch. Even if I had wanted to drop the money on them I certainly wasnt buying half opened merchandise.

This was a big problem with the Dark Crystal figures as well. Apparently, retailers were sending them back because they were falling off of the card before they could even put them on pegs.

The Twin Peaks set is on TRUs website for $9.99. It's in-store pickup only but it's worth checking if you're interested. I'm pretty sure they were entered in at the wrong price since I think the MSRP on these is $29.99. Needless to say, I got two.

I preordered the McFarlane Hopper and Eleven already, but I'll probably be getting all of these as well. Hopefully Hopper is one of Funkos SDCC exclusives they are announcing on Monday.

They arrived... Here is hoping there's a series 2 as we need Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Shame, Gordon, O'Hera and Alfred at the very least.

PJ Im curious, when you get the variants/chase figures...are you going to open them? I have the set coming Sunday (minus the Chases) but I havent decided if I can bring myself to opening the chases or not.

I think I asked this last year...but for the sake of saving a click...
Does anyone have the 6inch Rocketeer? How does it feel in hand? Does it feel cheap like some DCC figures?
Debating on getting it and wanted to know some opinions.

Debating on getting it and wanted to know some opinions. I have it and think it's great. I don't think it feels cheap but I've only had it on display since I got it. I know a number of the Game of Thrones Series 1 figures had limbs that broke, but the Firefly and Rocketeer figures seem like they are made with better plastic. It reminds me of the old DST figures, pre Selects or what they're doing with Ghostbusters, only with better articulation. So like the Buffy or Battlestar Galactica figures, if you had any of those. It's definitely not NECA in quality but it's still a nice, sturdy, well painted, figure imo. I think the only complaint I had was the likeness on the Cliff head but I ended up displaying him with the helmet head anyway.

I don't have one, but I just saw one online that I thought about buying. It looked really good.
