Why do you say we don't get cloth shirts and other cool items because of your WWE budget.... and then go and make a wave of foot long Elite figures and mass produce them?

This. And if the 12" line wasn't made that budget wouldn't be put into any existing WWE line.
Exactly. It's like people on this forum believe that if super strikers or rumblers go away then that money will go to elites or basics. Each line has it's own budget and do not impact the budgets of other lines.
Because each line has a different price point to stay within. If it was one community budget for all lines there would be to many chances for the budgets to be blown. This way each line knows exactly what they what have to work with.

And it's easier to track recovery and profit by separating the budget by lines
well as a collector, its hard for me to see Mattel cry poverty when it comes to things like cloth shirts or shiny belts, or accessories not coming with a figure because it has "too much detail" or there are "too many colors"
then i walk into a store and see Power Slammers or Rumblers completely clogging shelves & pegs. clearly not being purchased by anyone. or a line like Flex Force that BOMBED horribly. so essentially that is WASTED money within the company.

But it wasn't wasted money to them, because that's what the retailers were ordering/buying from Mattel...so they had made plenty of money on them. That is why they said for 2 years that FF was their top selling wwe line because that is what retailers were purchasing from them.
Look if you want to send them a message then do not buy anything but basics and elites. But telling them to quit making another line does not improve quality in another line. Each set has x amount of dollars to produce x amount of figures and accessories.
