i'm thinking about hollowing my first ttl head and was wondering if their is anything besides linozips that people use to hollow the heads, and just general tips people have for doing it

Get a Small thin dowel, or a Biro pen, put some sand paper around the end, and put it in the head, and twist it around a bit, until you get it like you want it.
Hope I helped.

I used to use a Xacto Knife the best way of doing this is to put the tip of the blade into the spot where the peg goes on an angle (do not go very far in probably about an 8th of the way in) and trim the excess part out you may also want to remove a sliver from the base of the head form there just compare with a RA head and make adjustments at necessary

heh if youre good enough, you can pop the head off keeping the hole hollow, then just stick and RA or R3 head pin in the socket and stick it on an RA body. my bro did that with a TTL jeff hardy head. hehe

not many TTL heads will work with a RA Peg you have to hollow them or they just sit on top and spin like mad crazy

I don't know what you all are doing, if you have a dremel, and a very steady hand, it's the easiest and fastest way to grind down the inside of the neck/head.
Steps- 1st- You need to have your RA body fully assembled, placing the head on should be your very last step.
2nd- Hollow the TTL head/neck region with a dremel (prefered).
3rd- Your gonna need to sand/grind down the neck portion on the RA body, the neck will be to long if you don't. Sanding around the outside of the neck on the RA body will also help alot. Just becareful how much and how far down you sand.
4th- you need to get a neck joint/peg out of one of the RA heads. Maybe someone has an easier method than I do, but since they are a huge pain in the a$$ I just take a head I won't care about or need in the future, and cut it in half with the Dremel, and retrieve the peg.
5th- Since you grinded down the neck on the RA body, the peg will not fit right. Now you need to dremel/drill out the inside of the neck, so the peg can slip down into the RA body.
6th- You need to apoxy the peg in place in the RA body, I use plumbers putty, it's a two part adhesive, I then push the putty down into the RA neck/body. To make sure the peg is gonna fit perfectly, I then place it into the TTL head, before pushing the other end into the RA body and the awaiting putty. Now make sure the head is postioned where you like it, and then let the putty set up and harden. (the putty hardens fairly quickly within 5 minutes, I just allow a few hours before playing or working more on the fig, to be safe) WARNING IF ANY ACCESS PUTTY COMES OUT OF THE BODY YOU NEED TO WIPE IT UP AND KEEP IT AWAY FROM YOUR HEAD... IF YOU DON"T AND THE PUTTY DRIES IN THE HEAD, YOUR FIGURES HEAD WILL BE STUCK PERMANTLY IN ONE POSITION...
7th- Now the RA body should be pretty secure around the neck and the peg should be firmly in place, the Head can still pop on and off, but I wouldn't suggest it. (if you know what your doing, the whole process should take about 30minutes..) Enjoy.
