Is it me being optimistic or just honestly thinking there is no way Daniel Bryan leaves Pittsburgh without the Rumble victory?
It just seems infathomable to me that WWE can waste a guy they have been making chase the brass ring over year, but then again it has happened before.
I pray to god that Bray/Daniel/Harper/Rowan run rough-shot the whole Rumble and then it comes down to them. Rowan and Harper eliminate themselves at Brays command and then when he tells Bryan to eliminate himself he eliminates Wyatt with a running knee.
I can see these top matches happening at Mania by taking shape at the Rumble:
Cena v. Taker (Main Event. Cena challenges Taker because thats the only thing he or anyone has never accomplished at Mania)
Lesnar v. Batista (Lesnar wants title shot, Batista wants one too; boom, easy storyline with two gargantuans)
Orton (c) v. Bryan (Rumble winner who has not been able to overthrow the authority and Orton has never beat DB clean)
HHH v. Punk (The seeds have been planted and HHH continually dodges Punk when called out and the confrontation with HBK helped shape the beginnings as well)
Rollins v. Reigns v. Ambrose (c) (U.S. Title on the line. Ambrose's head gets too big for the group and Rollins and Reigns grow tired of it, and they all want to find out who is the best of their group)
Other matches I can see happening at Mania: Goldust v. Cody (w/ Dusty at ringside) Bray Wyatt v. Sheamus Total Divas v. AJ,Kaitlynn,Tamina,Alicia,Summer Rae,Aksana PTPs v. Show/Rey v. Usos v. Real Americans (c) (Elimination Tag Titles match. After Cesaro/Swagger win they cut a promo with Zeb, and cue the rumored Hogan appearance.) Ziggler v. Big E (c) (I.C. Title Match for the Mania Kick-Off Show)
Thoughts? How can you see this show shaping up. Because lets be realistic, things like Sting/Goldberg/Hogan getting matches are never going to happen

Pretty solid line up you got here. I would easily be okay with all of this.

Yes please, I'll take two. As long as the title is the main event. Honestly, I think there is a reason that Orton vs Bryan has never had a clean ending. (Well, ever since SummerSlam atleast.)

I could conceivably see Batista, Lesnar or Punk winning the Rumble.

If they do go the route of Cena vs. Undertaker there is no way any other match (even the WWE Title) could be the main event. The crowd would be destroyed and worn out. I think this would be an amazing card and one that makes sense. A lot of fresh matches and a couple much needed rematches (Lesnar/Batista is probably Vince's wet dream). BUT, this is WWE we are talking about, and they do not care for one second what makes sense or what pleases fans.

All of that seems very very possible.

I don't see Orton and Bryan facing each other AGAIN.
I unfortunately see WM shaping up to be Lesnar vs Taker, Orton vs Batista, Triple H vs Punk, Shield Triple Threat, Bryan vs Bray, and Cena/Hogan vs Real Americans (or maybe Cena/Bryan/Hogan vs The Wyatts?).

Why can't you see that happening again. Orton has never beat Bryan clean without interference or help from the Authority. The SHIELD will be split by Mania, and Triple H will have his own problems to deal with in New Orleans. It makes perfect sense for this rematch one last time, with Bryan going over clean, 1..2..3. Orton's reign/run for the title has been an absolute joke since August, and now its time the WWE takes advantage of someones popularity and makes them a star they can use for the next 5-7 years.

Hulk Hogan, wherefore art thou? He will be there, but he can't wrestle.

BUT, this is WWE we are talking about, and they do not care for one second what makes sense or what pleases fans. Though Cena vs Taker would be hard to follow, this may just be the DB mark in me, but the title should always main event IF the title changes hand especially. The crowd won't necessarily be worn out if WWE order's the card correctly. Based on your card this is how I would arrange it: 1. Tag Team Title Match - Real Americans win, followed by Hogan to a huge ovation. Starts off strong. 2. Rollins vs Reigns vs Ambrose - The crowd won't be too worn out, and this will be just enough to not kill the crowd to quick. 3. Lesnar vs Batista - The crowd will be in to this one, but hopefully not in a WM 20 sense. 4. Ziggler vs Big E - Hopefully Ziggler turned heel to get into this and based it on the multiple IC Title #1 Contender matches he lost. Either way, the crowd probably wouldn't be THAT into it no matter what, so a good cool down match. 5. Goldust vs Cody - The crowd would be into this, but not a whole whole lot. 6. HHH vs Punk - Hot match, crowd would probably be hot. Depends on if HHH is on his game, cause Punk would be. 7. Cena vs Taker - The crowd will be on fire no matter what, so I place this here so there is adequate cool down time by the main event. 8. Wyatt vs Sheamus - I can see this match just getting dumped all over by the crowd, so they'll be resting it up here. 9. Diva's Match - Again, rest break. 10. Bryan vs Orton - With enough time between this and the Taker match, with DB back to himself the WrestleMania crowd would be Yes'ing it up, and assuming he screwed the Wyatt Family at the Rumble and is back to himself, after the victory we wouldn't be able to hear Jerry Lawler end WrestleMania with a beard comment. A few of these would be interchangeable, but you get the idea of what I would do. I would put all the missing people on the pre-show for a Battle Royal. Maybe do two matches on the pre-show, and put the IC Title there too if time constraints get in the way. As long as they don't blow all the big matches in a row like WM 29.

I'm going to bump this thread the day of WrestleMania and remind all of us how much better your card is than the one we end up getting.

I don't think we are getting a Shield triple threat at Mania. Assuming it doesn't happen, I want to see Ambrose vs Rollins and Reigns vs Big E.
Count me in the group that thinks Bryan winning the Rumble is pretty unrealistic. That being said, Bryan using the Wyatt Family to help him win the Rumble would be one hell of a story. I see Batista, or, hopefully, CM Punk winning the Rumble.
EDIT: Also, on what planet would Cena face Taker and it wouldn't close the show? Not this planet. That's the biggest match on your card. It would undoubtedly go last.

The card looks pretty great to be honest. Except the Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton match we've seen plenty of those already.

Love the card though I think we will get Henry vs. Big E.
Of course Cena/Taker would go on last.
I thought Bryan had a strong chance to win the rumble until Monday. Now I think he possibly faces Wyatt at WM

Pretty good card, and I agree i don't know how you can have anyone besides Daniel Bryan win the royal rumble. CM Punk is old news as far as I'm concerned. He's been on his victory lap since WM 28 to be honest.
