Really hope this is true.Having Jeff Jarrett and Tobey Keith together with possibly JR is a deadly combination. They get the right roster together and at some point a good TV deal and I think that the'll become the clear cut #2 pro wrestling company in North America and could even put TNA out of business.
In terms of what talent is out their right now these are the guys I would look to sign and to the best of my knowledge aren't under any type of long term contracts.
AJ Styles Carlito Chirs Hero Davey Richards Eddie Edwards John Morrison Low Ki Matt Hardy M.V.P Sabu Tommy Dreamer
and then sing a huge named star like Goldberg and or Chris Jericho(which might be pretty hard to due in getting him to jump from the WWE) you mix those names listed above with a big named star or two and some fresh faces from the indy scene or ROH(don't know how their contracts work) and on paper you have a really good roster of talent to star a promotion with. All the guys I have listed besides Goldberg can still go at a pretty high level and close to what they were in their primes. While guys like AJ,Morrison,Edwards,Richards and Hero or just getting into or are in their primes.

JR said he won't be involved and when he had dinner with Toby it never came up. Which is probably a good way to keep it a secret, but JR likely still has a no compete clause with WWE in some form. Also I would bet CMT would jump at the chance to take a promotion owned by Toby Keith.

I'm down. As a big TNA fan, I think their end is coming. The end of TNA if it happens and Jarrett's promotion rises to the top then Jarrett putting his own creation TNA out of business could you imagine that?

As well as Angelina Love, Katie Lee Winters, Santana Garrett, Amber O'Neil, Taeler Hendrix, VicTara, Reby Sky, ect. === Too early to tell, to form an opinion, but I'm always in favor of more companies being around - it gives the fans more selection and it gives the guys/gals another place to wrestle... a win/win! Personally, I would love to see Jarrett re-license the NWA Worlds Heavyweight & Worlds Tag Team belts, and maybe create either a Cruiser-X championship or another mid-carder form of championship... and also gain the license of the NWA Worlds Women's Championship. Guess only time will tell...

With this new promotion they could really go up against TNA or hell even put TNA out of business, imagine if that were to happen because TNA is on borrowed time if you ask me especially with Dixie Carter running it the way she is

It would be such a cruel twist of fate to see Jeff Jarrett put his own creation out of business, I think he'll lure a lot of TNA's roster to go and work for him.

Whats funny is how many people are loving Jarrett right now are about as many people who crapped all over him in the early days of TNA. The same things being said about how crappy TNA is now were what is being said then. And yet everyone is expecting Jarrett to just set the world on fire with his new promotion?
Bottom line, I didnt always agree with JJ and what he did with TNA then.....but I supported the product and there were still a lot of great things. TNA now isnt perfect and this AJ debacle is a horrible black eye on the company.....but I still support it and there are still a lot of great parts to it.

Without A LOT of big names and some serious money behind it, it'll never go anywhere. TNA.

I'm all for a new promotion, Jarrett isn't my first choice to run one. That said, I thought Ring Ka King was an entertaining show for trying to create a locally based product in India. Maybe Jarrett will prove that when solely as a backstage person he won't run everything to crap. I'll also kindly disagree when you say there are "a lot of great parts". Great talent? Sure. The over all show looks like a mess every week and an accident to me. If TNA tried to sell THAT show when they joined Spike, they wouldn't get picked up.

I heard about this rumor a couple days ago and I have been extremely excited. I'm all for competition and if this announcement is a new wrestling company then I hope it airs all throughout the US.

Its not perfect, but I wouldnt call it a mess. I like a lot of the stories TNA is doing right now. Hardy leaving, Dixie's champ, Sabin/Velvet, really like the Sam Shaw/Christy Hemme thing. About the only story I cant stand is the Joseph Park/Abyss.

Keith has the money. Jarrett has the mind. They just need the talent and big names. And they could have something here.

TNA's Spike deal runs out this year. WWE's USA deal runs out this year. WWE is always looking for more dough. Could Spike step back up to bring WWE back? The reason TNA is on Spike is the Spike executives love for pro wrestling and how they find it to be "the must have programming" for thier "guy tv".

Hate to say it, but that doesn't mean anything if a company goes under. A TV deal doesn't guarantee they would stay open.
