Which wrestling stars past or present from the Japanese wrestling scene would you buy if Mattell produced a "Puroresru" Basic & Elite series in scale with WWE?
The criteria would be wrestlers who were prominent stars in IWGP, All Japan Pro. My list is as follows in a non prioritized order.
Rikidozan Giant Baba Harley Race could easily be included in this list. Antonio Inoki Tiger Mask Manabu Nakanishi Keiji Mutoh(I prefer his 2010 look if I remember correctly. With his highly realistic, demon mask. Anyone correct if they know what I mean. Thank you.) Billy Robinson Josh Barnett Gary Albright
These are just the first names that came to mind. Obviously I'd LOVE an 18x18 New Japan 80s ring with black ropes, & the iconic Japanese style turnbuckle pads.
Dream two packs: Thesz vs Rikidozan A "Muta scale" tribute set with authentic battle damage. Harley Race vs Baba or Tsuruta. Literally both would be immaculate! Feel free to post your dream lists & propose ideas in relation to your dream figures. This is JUST for the joy of speculation so can the nonsensical attempts to "Burst our bubbles".
Enjoy.

Great Muta Masahiro Chono Mr. Saito Antonio Inoki Giant Baba Tatsumi Fujinami Riki Choshu Shinya Hashimoto Kensuke Sasaki Jumbo Tsuruta Mitsuharu Misawa Kenta Kobashi Genichrio Tenryu
Any "Americans" are easy passes for me. No matter how much success guys like Vader, Bigelow, Gordy, Hansen or Brody had, I feel they should easily be made under "American rules" as their domestic careers are more then enough to get them enshrined into a figure.

How do you guys know all these people? I'd imagine the older members know through tape trading, but I'm indebted to YouTube & historical documents.

How do you guys know all these people? Most of the people I mentioned were either... A)One time performers in WCW/NWA (some even in WWF) B)Former IWGP/AJPW World Champions C)Pound for Pound, the very best wrestlers in the world in their era. and some were all of the above. Also, I cant believe I forgot to mention Jushin Liger.

Jushin Liger is easily my #1, huge star, awesome design, would make for an incredible figure
But guys like Kobashi and Misawa would be amazing, I'd seriously buy everyone listed so far
An nWo Masahiro Chono would be a cool addition to the nWo we've already gotten
I'd really dig it if we got a New Japan Lesnar
Stan Hansen, Johnny Ace, Dr. Death, and Terry Gordy are definitely my most wanted gaijin. I really can't express how much I want Doc and Gordy.

KENTA is genuinely one of my biggest figure wants period, Japanese or otherwise.
I'd like to think that Liger and Muta could actually see Mattel figures if the line is around long enough.

If anyone wants some easy "American matches" to view from these guys (as I understand watching Japanese matches is hard if you dont know Japanese), try go Youtube these matches....
Great Muta & Mr. Saito vs Steiner Brothers (Starrcade '90) Great Muta vs Masahiro Chono (Battlebowl 92 I believe) Antonio Inoki vs William Regal (Clash of Champions 28?) Tatsumi Fujinami vs Ric Flair (Starrcade 91 & Superbrawl) Sting vs Kensuki Sasaki (Starrcade '95) Tenryu & Someone vs Demolition (Wrestlemania VII)
The rest of the guys I dont know of any American matches off the top of my head but Im sure a simple youtube search you can find something. All great workers and all great matches.

an elite Jun Kasai, with fully painted and detailed scar tissue and one of his more detailed pairs of shorts, with removable goggles and maybe a weapon, would be a must buy for me. Even in the $50 price range. Jaki Numazawa and Abdullah Kobayashi would be worth it to me in the $30 price range if they were well done.
