This was my first full on custom figure that involved torso cracking, parts swapping etc. I was fortunate enough to have a (in my opinion) pretty sick Edge headscan from a Jakks R3 figure I had from my young collecting days and felt like Edge would be a good project seeing as I don't have much intention of finding one of his current Mattel figs for anywhere cheap, plus I could make him look however I want obviously. I decided not to go for any particular event/tight design but rather just try to get the aspect of his late career without having to put more detail into it than I was prepared for at the time. A bit after finishing him I came upon an extra E23 Taker coat courtesy of Dieselramon that I gave a few snips and application of paint and tossed it on as a custom accessory, along with his original Jakks sunglasses and my custom was complete! Thanks to anyone who took the time to look and comment.

Looks pretty good man....I'd suggest moving away from the Testors paint if that is what you used....a good acrylic and a detail brush might help you tighten up your lines and zero in the logo a bit more as Testors is gloppier than most acrylic brands thus being harder to get a cleaner look with.

Hey thanks dude, extremely appreciated. Good eye on the testers spot, I've heard that they aren't the most recommended acrylic and I've seen why, I'm not the smoothest hand by any stretch but I have had some troubles with some cleanliness.

Not bad for a first custom. Try a better paint like vallejo model color. It may help you tighten your lines some.

Nice work man. I agree, that head scan is pretty sweet. I might see if I can find that old jakks head and try my own. Thanks for the idea
