Mattel tried and failed:
strike 1: Flex Force strike 2: Rumblers Rampage (LIKED those a lot!!!) strike 3 (well almost): Super Strikers

I don't completely agree with that statement. You're not wrong -- those lines were not as successful and they had some Hasbro-like qualities...but they weren't quite enough like Hasbros in my opinion. I'm thinking more along the lines of Jakks' LJN style figures. Even so, Mattel has the market saturated with other established styles of wrestling figures. It would be hard to get a Hasbro line to catch on.

Only good hasbros too me were the Scott halls Razor ramon (scott hall) is one of my all time favorites, hasbro included. But there were some awesome figures from hasbro. People are bias by them because they arent as sculpted as new figures but I still think IMO best figure line because that is by far my favorite era of wrestling.

It was a major downer going from LJN to Hasbro. Cut in size. Hasbros were midgets. I still bought them anyways but then rejoiced when Jakks put out it's first line of BCA. Mattel is better than all of them so far.

I have the complete opposite feeling from you guys in the sense that the only wrestling figures I ever liked were the Hasbros.

Mattel tried and failed: strike 1: Flex Force strike 2: Rumblers Rampage (LIKED those a lot!!!) strike 3 (well almost): Super Strikers Some of those were in the spirit of the Hasbro's but Flex Force/Super Strikers was still basically Mattel basics with action features....and of course, Power Slammers were just god awful .....Rumblers/Rampage are indeed the closest, but more like playschool blocky figures-Sure, Hasbro figures looked cartoony mostly, but there was still an attempt to make them more heroic and realistic -not like the more exaggerate proportions of the Rumblers (tiny legs/waists, big Popeye forearms) not to mention how tiny Rumblers are....if they were made as Hasbro sized it would be great.....
I think it's more realistic for us to ask for Hasbro scaled Rumbler Rampage figures. That's really the best chance we have and they would only look a little out of place next to the old classic Hasbros.
