I would love to hear what your feedback would be on this. Would Mattel acknowledge the demand? Is there a demand (lol)? I know they couldn't actually use Hasbro molds or actions... Something darn similar would tickle my fancy (size, scale, unique molds etc). Say if we got a couple thousand online signatures, would that be enough? I like the idea of the smaller figures they have produced and some I say "Darn those Kind of remind me of Hasbro's". I have been seeing some excellent Hasbro customs as of late and it got my day dreaming I guess. Maybe if there's a strong demand they might consider the scale. I know personally I would by these over the Rumbler's and the flex force and all the other side project figures Mattel releases.

I'd be into that because Hasbros are the only wrestling figures I like. I was recently looking at all the different wrestling toys released over the years and I was like man, I don't like ANY of these.

Hasbros have some charm which the current figures don't have, i like some Jakks and Mattels but i'm a Hasbro-Guy. I love the size of Hasbros, i grew up when all my figures had the same size, Turtles, Batman, Spider-Man and the Hasbros and it was cool to combine them.

Yes, only if they are identical and keep the releases small and meaningful. 5-6 guys a release and a few chase figs. Mattel, like JAKKS, puts out so many of the same figure that they don't mean anything. I would like to see the same packaging and everything. I have little faith they would be able to pull it off, but i would love to see the attempt and would buy them.

Jakks made LJN-style Classic Superstars, but they were baaaaaad.
The way things are cheaply made nowadays, I wouldn't want a bastardized version of a Hasbro.

I'd be afraid the new "Hasbros" would be like the new Garbage Pail Kids, just bastardized sloppy versions of the originals. But you know, I'd settle and sign a petition for Hasbro WWF figures to have its own section on the boards here, and not just be thrown into the "other wrestling toys" section with the bootleg figures and weird imports and all of that stuff. Not that those things are bad, but I think there are enough interested parties to make that worthwhile.

I was looking forward to the "new" LJN-style figs back then, but they were out of scale and just didn't look good at all. They just sucked. Back to topic though, I have no clue how the petition deal would work, but I'd love a Hasbro-style figure "reboot". They're still one of my favorite toy lines.

Yeah cause the Hasbro figures weren't cheaply made. You would realistically need several hundred thousand signatures for anything like this to even be discussed.

You know how some people buy the molds for other lines like the HeMan figures (Ive seen pictures but don't know much about the line) and reproduce the figures in new, limited ways? Maybe someone out there owns the rights to the Hasbro molds and could actually buy them to reproduce.. Only a thought. I'd invest for sure!

With how many "kid-centric" lines Mattel has produced, I'm honestly kinda surprised this hasn't happened yet. I mean, with a Hasbro-like line, you'd get the kids who apparently like stylized designs and action features if Mattel's previous child-centric lines are any indication, as well as older collectors for obvious reasons; where's the downside?

We had them, they were called Rumblers Rampage. Same price as Hasbros were at Walmart, too--$4.96.

Signed it. I can't help but think that maybe there's something we could put on Kickstarter to make this happen, too.

They would ruin them. They tried to redo the tonka wrestling buddies as bashin brawlers and ruined it. I think if they try it will be awful. But what the hell why not. If i could get same scale and somewhat same look and get some classic wrestlers id be pretty happy, hell even a legit cm punk would be ok.

Mattel has already said there was no chance for it. The difference between Jakks & LJN is they creator/founder or something was the same guy so there was a relationship there.
