Hi guys,
been prepping some bodies for some new customs and one particular i cant wait to show everyone...
for now i have revamped my Bolo Yeung from the 1987 movie Blood Sport with Jean Claude Van Damme.
of course my Bolo is more interested in jumping into the ljn arena and taking on the big names on my wrestling roster.

thanks guys. Ash i dig all of them but my favorite is Bolo and i always wanted him to mix it up with the old school wrestling guys...lol
but like you i love the movie and all the characters in the tournament.

Bloodsport was a good movie and cool custom bro. I'm not a fan of the head though. IMO it doesn't really look enough like him. I would like to see someone sculpt a head from scratch or get one 3D printed. I would like to see a JCVD to go with it.
Seeing this from a movie makes me wish I finished my mattel bruce lee customs. I was always a huge bruce lee fan growing up even though he was probably dead before I even discovered him lol

Have you seen Bloodsport 2, 3, & 4? They suck. Bloodsport was a great movie. I didn't even know the sequels existed. I always wondered what the crap Jakks was thinking with that head for Palumbo...I like this custom it captures the wild eyed look of Chong Li. |

Thanks guys yeah i had previously considered that chuck polumbo head the worst face jakks ever made...but was a head floating around in my parts box... something kept telling me to hold on to it. one night i was digging threw looking for a set of hands with no wrist tape while watching blood sport...i came across the head again just as bolo did that crazy look when he stopped the big American guys head into the mat. Bolo's character was one i always wanted to make but was damn hard to find a head that would look close enough to him in my point of view. the crazy wild eye look is exactly why i thought wow even with my skills i think i could pull this off. Im so glad im not the only that likes how he turned out thanks guys |
