I'm so dissapointed at Punk´s behavior, ever since he insulted Rock he lost respect from me bit by bit, sure he can speak his mind all he wants but this is not the way you want to "change" the WWE, he isn´t as big as he was in 2011 when he wanted to leave so it would be hilarious if this time the WWE simply ignores him.

This! The fact that Punk thinks he's bigger than WWE is funny!

Maybe he thinks if he acts like the Ultimate Warrior, he'll actually be able to induct him! But in all seriousness, if this is a work than kudos to the wwe, as I have underestimated there creative team. If it turns out that everything we are hearing is true than as a wrestling fan, I am devastated and angry. It is a true act of disrespect towards the industry and the fans to walk out like that. I truly hope Vince and HHH come out first thing on raw and bury him. CM Punk screwed CM Punk.

If this was a work WWE would have mentioned it by now.
He is not bigger than WWE but what is going on right now in WWE is horrible. Sacrificing and not building young talent for minimal ratings boost.

If Punk wants to headline WM, he's handling it exactly the right way: by quitting, walking out on the WWE, returning four years later for a Rumble win and a WWE title match as headliner of Wrestlemania. Agreed, he got screwed on headlining at 28 and 29, or basically any other PPV from late '11 onwards.

I have to laugh at everybody who legitimately believes that Punk leaving will be anything other than a huge disaster for this company. Even if you don't like the guy, he's still a huge draw and this is going to hurt a business whose profits have already been in a steady decline to begin with. Personally, this was probably the final straw for me that it sure as hell isn't worth it to order Mania just to see an over-glorified episode of RAW from 2007.

Why all this hate? He is a man who quit his job. I have quit jobs because I didn't like how I was being used before . He left money on the table an walked out. We are hypocritical to judge him for doing something most of us here have done before. He wasn't happy with the direction of his employer and left . He is no different than you or me.

Have to agree completely. He quit his job....bottom line. Happens daily in all walks of life. Do I agree with the way he did it? No, he could've been more professional about it. Stick around long enough to get written out. But its his choice to no longer work there. I've quit a couple of jobs with no notice when I got fed up with things. I should have given notice and made time for them to work around my leaving. But ultimately I was so pissed I just walked out. It happens, so I wont pass judgement there. As a fan, however, I'm very disappointed this all occurred. Definitely dampens an already wet road to wrestlemania even further.

Personally, this was probably the final straw for me I don't watch the WWE but I (would) always order Wrestlemania. Never claimed that I don't order Wrestlemania; I said I've stopped watching weekly. I find it adorable that you basically wait around and stalk my posts for any chance you can get to try and insinuate that I'm a hypocrite, though. Keep trying, buddy.

The Rock is also 7 years younger than Taker and has had less than a third of the full time career length of Taker(8 years compared to 26). Even Punk's in ring career was longer than his up to that point and he is 6 years younger. It was Batista's first match back and he was gassed with in the first 2 of the 12 minutes he was in the match. Batista looked like crap and shouldn't be given jack sh*t until he gets in shape as that performance was pathetic. Just because he might be friends with Batista doesn't mean he needs to like the fact he is getting a push. Supposedly he is also friends with Rock. Punk wrestles night in and night out so he can make it those statements about the WM paycheck as he and the rest of the full time roster have to work their a** off to be able to receive that paycheck and make it on that card. Would you be happy if you got a pay cut if your job made a change that would cause that or if some one came out of retirement and took an up coming promotion out from under you? Because if you wouldn't be happy about that, than YOU are the hypocrite. I am not saying the Rock is here for the pay check but I also don't recall that being Punk's gripe about the situation. His gripe with the Rock has always seemed to be with the fact that Rock was spoon fed the main event when he wasn't there for the long haul. Not a thing that you have state that Punk said is in anyway hypocritical and it is laughable to think such. WWE is a BUSINESS. They are in it to make money. Rock=MONEY. Its not spoon feeding. Its also professional wrestling. Its not fair. It never will be fair. Koko B. Ware was busting his ass on the road for years on years. Do you think he should have main evented WM at some point? Punk does work a ton of shows. He does battle injuries. And life on the road can be horrid at times. But its not all bad. You know it. I know it. He knows it. Also like in life....it isnt always fair. He who deserves it the most doesnt always get it. He who works the hardest doesnt always get to main event WM. Right now, there is NO ONE who deserves to main event WM more than Daniel Bryan. No one has a bigger gripe than he either. And yet.....I dont see him packing up and going home. Its a piss poor way to handle it. Play out your contract and hit the road when you are done. Leave WWE and tell them you are better than they are. Go out and make a ton of money in Japan and the indys and do it on your time table with your ideas. SHOW them....you dont need them. Everything he has bitched and whined about is hypocritical that I mentioned. The money most specifically. Where's my royalty check? I am not sure if you saw my question. If you were in line for a promotion but someone with who had less experience, left the company years ago, is getting paid more than you to work part time, just because they are a little more popular, would you be upset by that? If you were to receive a pay cut because of a change with in your job made, would you be upset? If you said yes to either, YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE!!! Like I said, Punk and Taker both have wrestled full time for significantly greater amounts of time. There is nothing hypocritical in saying what he said. He is earning his spot just like the rest of the full time roster. The Rock is getting pay to show up a few times a year, Batista has had one match since his return, but Brock (the guy who has the least amount of required match) Has had the most matches. You (just like me) have know what is going on behind the scenes, what you are stating here is nothing but your opinion. For all we know it is a work. And I am not saying that anyone deserves the WM main event more than Bryan, if anything it is the opposite. I am not even saying it is Triple H or Vince's fault. What I am saying is that he is a human being and this isn't some hobby or form of entertainment, it is a job. And like you and me, there are parts of his job he doesn't like, but instead of just letting it fester he brings up these problems.

Payback will be very interesting if he isn't there, especially with the Chicago crowd. Personally I do feel he came back too early last year after Mania. I do feel he should have took time off after Summerslam and then a return at the rumble would have been big.

If you were in line for a promotion but someone with who had less experience, left the company years ago, is getting paid more than you to work part time, just because they are a little more popular, would you be upset by that? If my job was selling WrestleMania pay-per-views, and that person was a lot better at it than I am, I'd understand the decision. This one doesn't necessarily apply. Working third from the top on a card with The Rock and Brock Lesnar might get you a better payday than headlining a card that they're not on.

Basically this thread: -People saying they'll miss Punk -People getting mad at Vince/Triple H for the reported cause of why Punk left -People claiming it's a work -People saying Punk leaving was unprofessional -People saying they're glad he's gone and hope he gets a salad at McDonalds when he clearly ordered a Big Mac, cause Punk deserves such harsh punishment

I'm just going to wait and see if this blows over in a couple of weeks. Some rest, time for reflection, and possibly some extra money from Vince's deep pockets might change the scenario.
