Whats the the best way to represent a flaming table? Without actually setting it on fire? Im thinking painted cotton wool.

Depends why you need a flaming table, If you need it for doing pose's I would just edit it so it looks like fire is on it. But if you just want to do it for your own amusement I guess you could use colour cotton wool, or even paper taped to one side of the table.

Back when I was an idiot, I used a little piece of cardboard over the table, sprayed hairspray on it then lit it. It goes out fast and it hardly touches your figures. I only used crappy FC/FM figs for it, As soon as the gust of wind from the figures happens, it out. Sweet visual though.

once i put a chair on fire by puting modeling glue on it and streched out paper clips for barb wire and i called it the flaming barbwire chair of death but for table i gus you could do the same but if you like put cardboard on trop

I make a little box of tin foil and put some little squares of tissue in side it burns quick and usualy when you put some one on top of it the flames get somthered and go out.
