So what are some little things that you love that came from a bigger picture that was a mess?
E.G. Rock & Jericho's amazing promo on Booker T, Rhyno and Steph during the invasion.

Ted Arcidi vs. Tony Atlas at the Boston Garden comes to mind. That match as absolute **** that Gorilla Monsoon and Lord Alfred Hayes didn't seem to give two-***** about the match. Here is the match:

Austins rubbish heel turn gave us two great matches vs Angle in 2001 @ Summerslam & Unforgiven.

Austins rubbish heel turn gave us two great matches vs Angle in 2001 @ Summerslam & Unforgiven. You gotta admit, the comedy stuff with Austin and Angle, prior to the feud, when they were both Vince's guys, was pretty entertaining.

Austin's WMX7 heel turn was the pits, but singing Steve Austin/Kurt Angle was hilarious I agree.
Undertaker/Hogan's WWF title hot potato in late 1991, gave us the greatest and still most prestigious Royal Rumble match ever.

The thing is, both Angle and Austin had to do those comedy skits each week, because both men were injured at the time, and instead of having them sit at home and do nothing, they had them appear on TV and do that comedy stuff with Vince. I personally still think to this day that it was some of the funniest stuff for that time frame for WWE television.

I loved Austin singing and messing with Angle. He also was always paranoid of Booker T I believe. I enjoyed it.

All things Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels in 1997. Their relationship was a train wreck and impacting the entire roster, their characters and interactions were sensational.
The original Nexus attack. The whole thing was ass backwards. They had this amazing moment but then Daniel Bryan got fired, then they got buried when Bryan returned, never put the title on Barrett and then spun into a low budget sequel. The whole thing was absolute sh*t, but the original attack was one of the coolest moments in WWE history imo haha.

Vince McMahon's heel character after Montreal. great call AF. and the reason we know its an accident is because EVERY member of creative/backstage agents at the time whether they get on with Vince or not says it was. Ross Cornette Russo Prichard Michael Hayes to name just a few.

He was clearly a heel opposing Austin after SummerSlam and that's always been my opinion.

NXT Season 3: The show was absolutely abysmal, but the commentary by Cole and Mathews was so hilarious because they made fun of how bad the show was. In fact, it just seemed like they were entertaining themselves while doing commentary.
I also agree on 2001 Heel Austin. There was no need to turn Austin, but the matches he had with Benoit and Jericho in May-June 2001 were amazing as well as his fued with Kurt Angle.

Cornette said that Vince character was never destined to go anywhere. but when the heat after Survivor Series wouldn't go away? he had to give in. it was longtime ally Kevin Dunn who made him switch. he wouldn't listen to anyone else.

I agree with the Angle/Austin discussion. At the time I didn't mind it because I was relatively young at the time but not until I was older did I realize how ridiculous it was to have one of the biggest superstars in WWE history oppose Team WWE.
