Just thinking, not sure what my feeling is yet because this might limit the possibility of good easy part swaps, but when Mattel Knee pads are in place the lower knee articulation becomes a complete non factor on 99% of Elites. What do you all think of molded Knee pads? I think this is where Flex Force & Super Strikers have it right, but just incorporate upper and lower knee articulation.*IMAGE USED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSED ONLY*

For small pads, it wouldn't look good. However, I do believe it would work with the larger knee pads.

I'd prefer it, but it'd mean them creating a ton of new molds for each leg size/style with each kind of kneepad. I don't think there would be any extra sales to justify all that production money.

I think they should work on the mold of the pads themselves......in a perfect toy world the pads would be made of cloth but we know that would never happen because of expense.......

The pads would be more flexible but they wouldn't look as good. Personally, I think they need to start using softer plastic (Like E24 Miz's coat kind of plastic).

I've always thought molded pads would be nice, but impractical from a cost standpoint. I'd imagine that would either raise the consumer's cost per figure or result in a loss of individual details from reusing the same molds for multiple figures even more than they do now.
I'd be all for the idea of using the thinner, more flexible plastic like e24 Miz's coat (as said above)

I'd just like if they stopped using the taller ones, like on most elites, and start using the style on the new Bret HArt or e24Miz. I don't really want them to be molded/sculpted on to the figures themselves because I do enjoy switching pads around. Cloth would be ok, but thats not really in the cards.

I said since day one they should have gotten molded pads and wrist tape, but at this point in time would never happen. And not sure why you say the pads hinders the movement to the point that it is wasted, because I can get pretty good movement out of both knee joints.

You can get pretty good movement sure, but you'd get full movement with molded pads.

Molded knee pads wouldn't look good at all. So I voted NO!

I'm on the fence. Because the flexforce one looks good.
But the current short n medium kneepads are great. Only gripe is the legsleeves of doom!

I'd be happy if they just stopped using the ****ing leg sleeves. It's been complained about forever. They do make the double knee joint almost a non-factor. They are also inaccurate in many cases they are used in, like the E27 RVD. When they would be accurate, like. for Dolph Ziggler for instance, they could use a combination of medium pads and paint.

Totally with u on this! Medium pads and paint wound be killer! Hopefully they were happy how Billy Gunn came out and will do it more often. In general I think the medium pads are the best and most under used. I think that MDT needs to communicate with the roster better and ask them: do you wear AMA pads (long sleeve) do you wear Trace pads (small) do you wear McDavid pads (medium) then make their figure match up acordingling.

I used to want molded elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist tape but I don't care about it now
