I feel that you all have much more lengthy RPs than I do. That is what I think kills me.

Kyle, take a look at my latest snoozefest. Quantity does not always beget quality.

However, all the same, I really thought I backed myself into a corner with this one, but I just came up with a kinda cool way to work off it. It still won't make sense to do what I'd wanted to originally, but you take the lumps I guess. I wrote a real garbage piece during my first run that I was able to pull out of. Why not this one?

I just finished mine. Anyone willing to look over it and give me some suggestions?
I'm not that much of a reader, SYE. One thing that this board has helped me with is reading more. I will definitely check it out.

I, sadly, have been more busy than I like this week...so will probably just spruce up my rough draft and go with it...I would usually prefer to do one full rewrite, as it is part of my process/ritual....but given all the variables...should be good enough for a intro...if nothing else

Kyle, I'm gonna lay a harsh truth on you - I was never much of a writer until I became a heavy reader. Read everything. Read books, magazines, the newspaper (if your town still has one), short stories, poetry. Read fiction. Read non-fiction. It will help you in all walks of life. It'll help your spelling. It'll help your grammar. It'll improve your vocabulary. It will make you a better writer. I don't even care what level you read at. By the end of second grade, is managed to read Michael Crichton's "Jurassic Park" over the course of something like three days, but my favorite book of all time is a young adult novel that's an easy read that can be done in less than a day.
You ever want some recommendations, give me an idea of what you're into and I'll see what I can come up with.

Or, you know, you could post it.

Or, you know, you could post it. Then I wouldn't be able to edit it.

This week has been stupid with work. I've been working on my RP bit by bit and hope to be finished with it tomorrow or Friday but with a job interview tomorrow it's looking like a completion date of Friday is more likely.

Send it my way, I haven't read a ton of your stuff, but I like to think I'm good at helping the newer guys out.

First year of University is over for the Summer, I am basically free and can now finally focus on the WFWF properly again. Edit: Also, based on the similar pose that Squirrel is making, I think it may be a Bolshevik.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest
Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Beyond Thunderdome
Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead
The Phillip Schneider interview series joins these as illustrious trilogies. There are some loose ends to tie up, some stories untold, and some things that have happened since my last interview that need addressing. For this one, I'm open to ANY questions submitted to Proggy. We're looking for late Saturday or sometime Sunday to do the interview, so get your questions to him by then.

Yeah, send me your questions, and please title them 'Question for Schneider'. It'll help me find them quicker, which will decrease the wait time of the posting of the interview.

Just noticed how much longer this RP has been in comparison to my other RP's. Regardless i'm having a tough time writing Montel, really trying to mold an identity for him, but everything I think of just screams generic. Scratch that, just got a brilliant idea.
