I wonder how cool this place was when it was full of active writers. Looks like it was amazing. Imagine how cool it was when Me, Mike, Cam and Proggy were the only people who posted RPs for a show almost exactly a year ago. It's really not that bad at the moment. And even in the 'good old days' I don't think the quality of RPs was anywhere near as good as it is from a lot of the top writers here at the moment. Schneider goes on hiatus and the whole damn system crumbles. |

I am ready to post my rp, but one of my key scenes is one with me and Shawn Malakai, to which I got approval to write, but need the final approval of the written scene itself. I sent it to Shawn this afternoon, about six hours ago, and I guess he's busy, cause I haven't got a response from him yet. So I can't post until I hear from him.

I'm going to officially state now I'm showing, but I'm going to be a little late. As Kyle said, I was planning on being on time, but then I found out close friend of mine is in a bit of a personal crisis and I want to make sure they don't do something they might regret. This on top of a 10 page paper due in less than 48 hours. But I'm showing, don't get me wrong.

Inspiration is a funny thing. Last week, I had nothing on Daniel Kirkbride. Dude didn't even exist, and now I've got 3/4 of the first two rps done for him, for a debut that's still undoubtedly weeks away. Conversely, my last couple of Brennan pieces were hodge podged together and took numerous rewrites for me to be "okay" with 'em.
Just gotta change the batteries sometimes, I guess.

I'm going to sincerely and publicly apologize to Cam Stone here because I was really looking forward to our match. I was expecting to have a bit of free time, but I have absolutely none. I'm currently working 7:30-5:00 everyday and by the time I'm done working I'm way too tired to type anything that is any good. Hopefully it will be only one or two shows before I get back to school and will have more time to do whatever I want. I promise I'll make it up to you with a real match sometime Cam.
If it means that I get written out of the current storyline, so be it. I'm not going to post something that I don't like just for the sake of showing.

Shawn gave me the heads up you no showing was likely, I thought you'd pull it out personally, but crap happens. It is a shame, because I think the RP I got us some of my best work ever, and I was also really looking forward to the match. Shawn told me I should hold off and see if you post before using what I wrote, but I tied literally everything pretty much directly to the match with you, so I wouldn't have really been able to use it for a different match anyways. Crap happens. |

Effective immediately I am withdrawing from the active roster. I know a feud was in the works regarding me, and I thought I was able to take it and look forward to the summer of bringing back my A-game, but this is more than just being creatively sapped from a RP and character standpoint. I'm not in it mentally in real life and am honestly close to a breakdown due to personal life regarding my decisions in the past year and a half and its all basically crumbling down on me at once and I need to right this in some fashion before I do anything regarding hobbies and things of that sort. Because at it stands, I'm not a functioning adult in society. I'm breaking down physically, emotionally, mentally and I'm genuinely sorry to everyone who was depending on me regarding the angle and I'm genuinely sorry regarding my rather pathetic lack of participation. I know I've let and am letting people down with this decision, especially of the suddenness of it but this is more than simply struggling with the game as a would-be writer. I'm not healthy and I don't need the additional deadlines when I'm struggling with others in my real life. Thanks for the ride, even if the latter half was complete shit, but I need to sort my crapout.
