Lockdown will go back to original format of all matches in the cage. I find this great news since I love cage matches. Here's the article TNA posted the video above of TNA President Dixie Carter announcing that every match at TNA Lockdown on March 9th will be held inside a steel cage. Up until last year, all matches at the event were held in a steel cage. Last year's event consisted of two traditional steel cage matches as well as a 10-man tag team Lethal Lockdown bout. I'm glad they have done this, last year just did not feel right with only 2 or 3 cage matches after using the original format for so long.
This years potentially has the chance to be as good as Lockdown 2010. 2012's Lockdown had to be the worst one ever.

I believe at the first Lockdown ever, they marketed it for a few weeks as "TWO Steel Cage matches in ONE NIGHT!" A week or two went by and all of a sudden it was "EVERY  IN MATCH IS IN THE CAGE" or something. So the two cage match idea was actually the original if I remember correctly. |
