That's confusing...how do you like all Boston teams except for one sport and then like their arch rival? haha when i was a kid in 1996 i was introduced to the world of baseball by my stepdad. i never cared for it before then. he is/was a huge Yankees fan. over the times I came to appreciate new york and the entire history of the Yankees. i learned alot about Mantle, Ruth, Yogi, Maris, etc. and just fell in love with it. Easily influenced in my teens, . when i got into high school one of my (now best) friends was a huge fan too so we bonded over that and it just made my love for dem Yanks stronger. contrary to what everyone just assumes my hate for the red sox is all but gone. it's just not the same anymore like it was in the early 2000's. and i really just don't care about them anymore. i dont root for them to win, but i dont want every player to fall and injure themselves in every game either, lol. I still hate the Sox but thats because all my friends who spend the 90s/early 00s as Braves fans have somehow become die hard Sox fans. Im not too hardcore into baseball anymore though...Nothing ever can or will replace my love (or money spent) on the 49ers.

Nivro™i had a good friend growing up who LOVED the niners...rice, montana, hell even ronnie lott i always rooted for them too because of that of course we used to argue because his favorite player was jerry rice and mine was barry sanders so we'd try to prove why each was the best player ever ever. and joe montana is the greatest QB in NFL history, really no contest there.

Barry was a beast...I think it was PrimeTime football for Sega, the year after Rickey Watters left us for the Eagles, it was also the first year you could trade players on a video game. I would trade Derek Loville or whoever it was for Barry Sanders and then trade Deion back to the Niners....damn that team was freaking loaded haha Rice, B. Sanders, Montana were the 3 best players IMO in their respective skill positions. I personally believe Rice overall is he best ever.

I've been a big sports fan all my life, the main teams I really follow are:
• Carlton Football Club (Aussie Rules) • Melbourne Victory Football Club (Along with Carlton my most passionate supported teams) • Manchester United Football Club (not as passionately as when I was younger) • Australian National Football Club (don't think Socceroos have much of a chance)

NFL: Baltimore Ravens. From Maryland, reside there now. Love my Ravens.
NBA: New York Knicks. Don't like to talk about this too much for obvious reasons, LOL.
MLB: Baltimore Orioles. Same reason as I love the Ravens, the Baltimore energy for sports teams are awesome.
NCAAF&B: West Virginia. My grandfather is from there and just got me hooked onto them at a young age. I could never get attached to the University of Maryland, but I still support them.
NHL: Washington Capitals. Not a huge hockey fan, but over the past year I've become more of a fan. With that being said, the Caps are the closest hockey team to me, and also a good buddy of mine is a huge Caps fan, and has kinda made me a fan.
I'm a huge football fan and every other sport falls after.
Side note: my favorite wrestler of all time is The Undertaker and my favorite UFC fighter is Forrest Griffin and Jon Jones.

NBA - Boston Celtics. My first sports love. If New England collectively cries over the Red Sox history, I've got my own personal corner of tears on account of the Celtics and the fact that I came up during the Pitino years. Still love 'em. It's just a tough go.
NFL - New England Patriots. This one's funny. 'Til I was 9, I lived in Austin, Texas. Every, summer, we'd go and watch the Dallas Cowboys practice, during the height of the Aikman/Smith years. I never latched onto football in a big way until a few years ago. A buddy of mine has been obsessed with the Pats for as long as I've known him, planning Sundays around their schedule, the whole ordeal. In adulthood, it's been a great way for us to remain in touch, and I've become hooked fully immersive, studying up on what I missed growing up, the whole bit. Easily tied with the green for my top tier cares in terms of pro sports.

Jets and Yankees.
My dad is a huge Yankees fan so growing up it was just natural to like them and the Jets were the first football game I ever went to so I just latched onto them from there.
